@Hopkins132 It didn't send them to the future because to go to the future, Richard needed to have those PRECISE things. The boxes, the mordsith, and the confessor. The thing is that Cara took away her agile before they could travel through time again. Also, the boxes were split apart by Rahl so they wouldn't have time traveled anyway. >.<

This was an amazing way to end a great season. I enjoy this ending as much as I did that of the book. However one small complaint I have is the unrealistic nature of the supposed complication in getting back to the present. Rahl knew the only way to stop them returning in time was to stop Cara yet his only attempt to stop her was a couple crossbow bolts and then simply hope that she stops dead in her tracks. That was way to easy and unrealistic. But still amazing episode..

Kahlan and Richard is one of the greatest love stories and I can't wait to see where their relationship takes them next,..

Kahlan's confessor power is Additive - it makes the little bit of love in anyone so great that they are unbelievably "in love" with the confessor. Richard was so in love with Kahlan that there was no more space for love to grow - his love for her countered her power. Of course that's different from season 1's ending. In this case I think the power of Orden stop's the confessor's power's effect.

It renders the Confessor's power useless, as proven between the union between Kahlan and Darken Raul- but there was the Dark Black flash of Confession when Nicholas grabbed Shota's neck.
