When I was 11 my mother and step-father illegally moved my brother and I down to FL (violating the divorcing agreement) and it took 2 and a half years before the state of NC decided to do anything. Why? Because the state of FL got in contact with my father, informing him that there was a child abuse case pending against my step-father and mother. Did my mother ever go to jail? Nope.

Here in California it is very simple, pay or prison. This only applies to men. My cousin married a man with a 5 year old son, she just had her own baby a year ago. She raises her step son as her own as the little boy has a meth head mom who won't even come to visit him. There is no child support being paid. The family asks my cousin what can be done? Nothing, as drug addicts only have $ for drugs. All the more reason for this woman to be in prison.

Then a child got ill and she fell into debt, and she is now seeking 8 years worth of child support from the man, and family court is SUPPORTING her and are ripping into the poor guy, and she stated she has no regrets on what she done.
