Lol. Well, this was shot in class in about 20 minutes. Neither me nor the actors put a great deal of effort into it. Since everything else I put on youtube got a good reaction I might as well leave this one here for a good sense of balance.
oh no... no, no no. seriously??! this is ridiculous. For one, if you're even DOING a director's workshop then I am led to believe that maybe...just a long shot here though... you're interested in being a director.and despite whatever 'documentary' you may have been focused on at the time, this was a project that you were given and there is no reason it should have been as bad as it was.
A good director takes everything he or she is given and does the best work possible. And it's shameful that you take a classic movie (that won awards by the way.. I mean, do you know ANYTHING about film??) and turned it into a joke. Though I don't really believe you tried to make it a joke... you simply didn't care and I don't know which is worse. And the acting is terrible but how or why you didnt guide them in a different direction is beyond me! That's your job as a director. Ugh. A disgrace.
Wow, that's a lot of creepy post three times in a row passion. Here's the deal. Moonstruck is a sappy piece of fluff. I really don't care about that film. Also, why am I going to care what a person on Youtube thinks? You don't know anything.Go outside and walk around a bit. Get some vitamin D to fight off the rickets. Call your family. Buy a puppy. Buy two puppies if they're small.
Wow, you all are way to intense. This was a director's workshop thing we were forced to do. It is a joke, and no, I don't want to watch the original Moonstruck. It was this scene or one from Fried Green Tomatoes or Garden State. We didn't really have a choice. Also it was all shot in an afternoon. I was busy directing my documentary and finishing it when this got tossed on my plate. Go watch, "Invasion of the Puzzle People". Also, Nicholas Cage can't act.
What happened to the magic of the real thing? I mean, it's great to see people doing this but.. again, where's the magic of the original characters? Is that a modern reinterpretation of a classic? Has Ronny become some kind of a rapist now? It really looks like no one in this video ever saw the movie first.."This is a scene from the Nicholas Cage/ Cher romantic comedy Moonstruck.", No, definitely it's NOT.
ok, so...you took a multi oscar award winning film, containing incredible talent (Nick, Cher, Olympia, Danny, etc...) and made THIS?! excellent! no, just kidding...actually u get cheers for indepenent artistic perspective but jeers for acting, direction and pesentation. NOW...if this was a joke...well then...A+!
Oh my gawd....the end of this thing has me in stiches.....I'm literally laughing so hard my sides hurt. I can't decide what's funnier...the bad acting, or the ridiculous ending. I'm trusting this is a joke....if not, it's even funnier...
OMG I hope this is a joke...the point of the scene is supposed to be that he desperately loves Loretta, not that he's a psychotic date rapist. Did you guys ever see the movie? Wow.
was there a take 2 for this? go and tape it or put it up. this is abuse and violence and not how the story ended. so if it's meant to be that, fine, if not, change it.

Sorry, that was horrible. Right... positive first. Okay framing on most shots. Now, for the reality.... what was the point?
