aww cute!! we have a 7 month jrt and he has only learnt fetch, sit, beg, stand, dance and paw, i wanna teach him play dead like i taught our border collie but he refuses to go down lol

To say a dog is not a "true" jack because it does not meet breed standards is ridiculous. It may be disqualified from the show ring, but it is a Jack Russell just the same.

She does have spots, she has black or brown spots on her lower belly. She is not albino, which as someone else asked about can be linked with deafness because she has a black nose and eyes.

Albino animals have pink noses and either light blue or totally pigment less pink eyes. Like albino rats

She is just so cute, my Jack Russell Lilly is white but with black spots under her coat and looks like she has black eyeliner around the eyes, although one looks like she was drinking while applying one ha ha ha. How long did it take Daisy to learn the tricks? Lilly is a year and a half old and very smart.

If anything I would get a Tan and White .

I'm still training my labrador puppies, I'm only 12 so I don't know much about training and only me and dad take care of the dogs so we only train them. They know tricks like sit, lay, play dead, shake, high-five and some others. How did you get your dog to bring a toy to you?? My puppies would just start playing with the toy and I'd have to play tug-o-war with them to get it back...

@marutomosander : Yes, an all white Jack is more rare but they are seen quite more often in the show ring than on the street. Her daddy was a show dog :)

@suesmovies Actually it's not considered a true Jack Russell Terrier without some brown. I'd have to look it up but I think it's supposed to be at least 40% of the body brown to be considered a true Jack.

Thank you. Yes I agree... unfortunatelly shouting at ther dog all the time makes him only respond to shouting and ignore the master the rest of the time. a different voice or tone is helpful though to get the attention of the dog but it does not have to be a mean voice.

She learned the tricks she does here in about 1 month, training almost every day for a few minutes. Don't train too long orelse they get bored and are not looking forward to next training session. This way they are so excited to learn more and are performing so much better.

teach it to lift it's rear leg like a male dog. That's a cute trick that I teach my female terriers. I use the command "do you have to go", then the leg comes up.

actually they can run quite fast a 6 weeks. I had mine potty trained within a week or two. 40 tricks is impressive, but I wouldn't put it past a Jack!

I think i do... well my puppy dont realy like dog treats... i use like human food like: bread, bits of ham and others... but use the same treat for like 5 times he gets it right, only 5 ties because ur dog might get to used to human food witch will put him of of dog food.... i hope this Helps u tell me if it does

I learned most of the training techniques from Youtube's videos on training such as the ones of zackgeorge21. Once you learn how to teach your dog, it is important to do a 10 minute training session everyday. JRTs try to be cute and get some freebies... don't be fooled! Only praise the behavior that you have asked. At first I only started by teaching one command at the time. When the puppy gets it 100% then teach a new one. HELP YOUR DOG SUCCEED, THEY WILL LOVE IT. DON'T EVER LET YOUR DOG FAIL!
