I traded in my iPhone 3G for x10. At 1st I was disappointed with it but gradually fell in love with it. It is an amazing machine 2 watch videos on. But I found two flaws in it. So those wanting to buy x10 be attentive: i) Most of u may face battery issues. Some preinstalled softwares completely drain out the battery in abt 10 hrs. ii) The mediascape's audio is no match for iphone's ipod. It simply sucks for those who like loud & clear music with bass. & their is no music equalizer either.
The battery issue can be solved with TaskPanel which enable u to turnoff useless apps draining ur battery (mine survives at least 3 days now without too much usage). As for boosting mediascape's sound I am sorry I haven't found any solution so far. U might as well listen to music on x10 without hands free for louder music - but that would suck even more, wouldn't it?

i am telling you, good OS but what i hate most is the lag,its not even comparable to my 3G.dont bother to compare to the 3GS, 1ghz i thought this would be a speedy butt, but damn its not.i waste money on this buy,its like my mytouch with regard to speed, if they fix the laggy thing, this would be awesome,even typing frustrate me always hitting the wrong button.not to say keyboard typing lags too badly
why in every new phone video a lot of ppl shout: "the iphone killer" or just a brainless "iphone sux".
can't you just enjoy your phone as i do? i don't feel the need of spit on any phone around here, if you do maybe you have made a wrong buy ^_^. but don't be scare!! you can still change and be happy :)
I agree with YTwallaby, beta means it functions and they are testing it for errors, so when it gets released its still gona be laggy! it should go to ALFA and they should fix the lag! other than the lag, this phone would of been great! 8.1 megapixel cam, huge screen 1ghz processos.. WOW but a lag with all those specs is a nerve kill thats why i returned my nokia N97, and got a lesser specd out e71 that doesnt lack and functions well
They were just showing a pre-production model of the phone. Where did you hear it was a beta? It's just a prototype. Don't you mean Alpha? The lag is due to the lack of optimization for the hardware. They have stated already that the OS will run almost identical to what you see in the videos. Calm Down...
yea expect to pay 700 dollers trust me i have talked to many people that saiid ot will be 700 dollers and it wont be for any us carrier so it will be unlocked
nice video concept, see how nice the finger moves and well synchronised on screen interaction, lol....theres a delay between them, very fake video and purely commercial, :)

In reality this "phone" has enormous lags. It just is not fast enough to run Androind/Rachael interface smoothly. It barely reacts of commands. Check other vids. This is just an advertismet video with fake phone and fake fingers tapping it. :)
in case you haven't noticed YTwallaby, that was a BETA Pre production model plus it's running on Android, not Windows 6.1 Beta Models always show Lag, go read up on it sometime before you go making smartass comments.

Totally agree with that! Apple always advertises something that has already been launched (exception: MacWorld). The weird fact is that they never release a prototype or a BETA, and they make amazing products without people's advice or testing! That means they know their customers very well!
WTH are you talking about? SE hasn't released anything. They just had a hands-on. It's not like they're having a public beta that everyone can have for the X10. I'm also 100% sure that Apple tests it's products internally before they release anything.
They already have said that they haven't optimized the OS for the phone so I really don't see your point. Also, in those videos you would notice that he continues to point that out. From the top of my head, the only thing that was optimized was Google Maps.
