I go with maxhansen. I appreciate the work, nothing is easy, but it's like whatever emerges in the world depicted here is rather something like stain glass in the making, covering the camera lens. It does not mix with what the camera captures. Now this might be exactly what the author wanted to achieve. It still looks odd to me.
And, yes, the music does most of the trick. (What would the film be like without it?)
lol, that's why they call it film school. Pretty meaningless and devoid of any point or purpose. Graphics are cheesy and uninspiring. Looks like a nice acid-induced hallucination, so 4/10 for that. :D
Not bad, but a little suprised at how much time you spent on it. How many students and staff worked on this? Check out what the rogues at New Mexico State are doing; maybe we could collaborate on something?!! I definily dug what you were tring to do with this piece. Keep up the fine fight... peace ez THE RED
It was enjoyable to watch. It seems fine. Looks like a lot of work for two minutes. I think it helps gives rise to newer applications. It'd be neat if one could get paid for all that work.
Was that a tracking error at the end when he was sitting in the chair, or is he supose to move around like that? Great work by the way, but allways is coming from Vancouver Film School right?
Doesn't quite work for me. Reminds me of lavalife posters, but those work because because the surreal elements have a clear place in the social space of the people. It's clear who causes those elements and who perceives them. Here that's unclear, and just leaves me dissatisfied.
I like the music too! I wish i can have a colouful world like that everytime i take a step..

It'd be cool to see this with match-moving software and some moving shots. Drop is an appropriate name for it, too.

This was done a lot better in Yellow Submarine (and Magical Mystery Tour too). They who forget history are condemned to repeat it.

Hello fellow american
Giuliani is out of control.
All we hear from him is 9/11, but do you remember Rudy before then?
WE sure do.
Check out what our fellow ferrets are saying about him:
