Me and my girlfriend went to see another movie that day but the tickets were sold out. We decided to see Stardust, which we thought just another cheesy Disney-like movie. But it's surprisingly good and romantic, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Its in the music of "Shooting Star - Stardust Soundtrack - Ilan Eshkeri".

I think we should call it star-theme. Everytime Yvaine "acts as a star and not as a woman" this theme is played. But I can't tell you more. Its yust what i have notived.

I think you may be looking for "Shooting Star"... and you can also get a slightly twisted version of the Star Theme at the end of "The Three Witches", as Lamia regains her health eating what' s left of the heart they had. Creepy...

Yes but composers have been using these chords for centuries. there really aren't any new chords just different ways in using, exhibiting, and portraying them. and this is one of the best.

I like the movie, its just SUCH a shame that the composer used the most obvious chord for the soundtrack, the same chord progression found in almost everything: Hans zimmer's pirates + gladiator, transformers almost all mainstream film music not to mention pop songs!

Just because it's common doesn't mean it's bad. :) Think about the "hero's journey." That story progression is as old as stories are, but it's still great. This soundtrack is beautiful. :)

No-ones saying the film is bad, or that the music is bad. What I'm saying is its horrifically overused to the extent where it is no longer beautiful. Purely as its just such a copout for the composer to say, right time to use the "epic chords" progressions instead of thinking of something original. Whenever I hear it is just ruins it for me. But thats just me and I'm probably a bit weird....
