I do agree those aren't vampires, but, vampires doesn't exist, so, she may as well call a octopus a vampire. The only problem I have with this movie is the Tsunami of fangirls. Also, Edward is hairy and his abs were CGied in. lol
I do not feel the love between these characters. Edward spends to much time trying to be cool. Love isn't expressed so much in his features. And Bella is too busy being nervous to even begin to truly be in love in the first place. She places herself as vunerable.
Well I have not read the books and do not plan on reading the books. But I ave been told that bella will eventually have an ostamom belly so that i CANT WAIT to see

I can't believe this movie became as popular as it did, but then again, that's what I think about a lot of the films I see these days. It's like a new rule or something: the shittier the material, the more money it'll make. The deeper, cleverer, and more artistic it is, the harder it'll flop. Pisses me off that movies like Serenity don't pull in enough to cover their production budget, and dung piles like this become overnight hits.
There are some exceptions. Let The Right One In makes a lot more of superficially similar material and made far more money than anyone expected it to. Well-deserved, too.

I started reading Twilight today, and basically, what I'm doing is to go through each chapter (I just finished Chapter 3 so far) and looking up SAT level words there.

I found this film to be very Emo!! if that makes sense, Bella is the type of girl you couldn't want to hang out with because shes such a gloom!! I find it funny who her and Edward never make an effort for proper romance in the film! they seem bored to death around each other!! and I just love it how Edward keeps telling her she should keep away from him! and then hes back every 5 minutes to remind her of this?? I was surprised that this movie was indeed very good. Edward and Bella are perfect together. My only complaint is the climbing of the trees and the flying. It did not look real at all. Also the way he carried Bella flying across the trees did not look, how do you say it, sexy. They tried to portray Edward as a dashing, irresistible vampire but they way he carried Bella looked awkward. But whatsoever, I enjoyed the movie at lot.

I tried to watch this with my girlfriend, and I just couldn't. I fucking fell asleep about 20 minutes into it, that was the first time that's ever happened to me. It was worse than Open Water and Cloverfield.

It didn't matter how long, we still would watch it. lol I think that they could've established WHY Bella & Edward fall in love because it seemed like they fell in love fast. I have to admit it was a fantastic film and if I had'nt read the book I would class it best film. But if your going to make a film of a book THEN DO IT PROPERY! You can't miss half the important bits out. It should all be there.
I was really dissapointed. The romance sucked and seemed unrealistic. I really wished that they didn't cut the blood typing scene out; that was a VERY important part of twilight, where Bella finds the biggest clue to Edward being a vampire. The meadow sucked too. THe whole series was based on the couple in the meadow, and that's how Meyer even started the twilight saga.
Duh, everyone could notice that, but going along with the story in twilight, it would seem too fast forward and less suspenseful, less natural...which is exactly what happened.

I was surprised that this movie was indeed very good. Edward and Bella are perfect together. My only complaint is the climbing of the trees and the flying. It did not look real at all. Also the way he carried Bella flying across the trees did not look, how do you say it, sexy. They tried to portray Edward as a dashing, irresistible vampire but they way he carried Bella looked awkward. But whatsoever, I enjoyed the movie at lot.

Mediocre isn't even the right word to describe this movie, if you can actually call it a movie. This grabasstic piece of Rosie O'Donnell shit gave me chronic diarrhea for 2 weeks. Why the fuck does everybody fucking like this shit? I even tried to read it myself, I read like 1/4 of the book and after that I just wanted to chop my dick off with a rusty screwdriver. That's how much I fucking hate twilight (I hate it so much that I don't even capitalize it!)

It didn't matter how long, we still would watch it. lol I think that they could've established WHY Bella & Edward fall in love because it seemed like they fell in love fast. I was really dissapointed. The romance sucked and seemed unrealistic. I really wished that they didn't cut the blood typing scene out; that was a VERY important part of twilight, where Bella finds the biggest clue to Edward being a vampire. The meadow sucked too. THe whole series was based on the couple in the meadow, and that's how Meyer even started the twilight saga.
I hate Hardwicke, she's done a terrible job.

ok, so ,like, i think that they did a really bad job on the movie. i know that they were ,like, cutting if for time and everything, but i would prefer a 6 hour movie thats acurate, rather than a 2 hour movie that is practically not the story that i know like back of my hand. im really upset that stephanie meyer thought that this was an adiquite version of her book. and i think that they picked REALLY bad lead roles, bella isnt at all what i imagened, and this edward was not Mr.Super-Sexy-Pants!!

The dialogue sucked, the acting sucked, the mood was all weird and shit... And wtf?! The vampire guy was all like, "You MUST stay away from me..." and yet he is always the one who shows up right behind her. And yeah... Like no one would say: what is up with the pale skin these guys have...
The plot went nowhere. And what was up with the "Antagonist"? He gets introduced fairly late, there isn't really a climax (atleast to me)...
(Sigh) Haven't read the book though.

Ok they reviewed the acting, but nothing else. Sorry I can't take this serious as a review. The acting was the only good part in the movie. The music was alright but they didn't have an original score for the film which only hurts it. THe fight was horrid. The bad guy wasn't fully introduced until the last 20 minutes of the film. They weren't even vampires (MEssage me, I'll send you a note about why) In short unless your a teenage girl, skip twilight.

i hated the movie. what got me most was when he sparkled... he made sparkling noises! in real life, when you look at a diamond, do you listen to it shine? and the acting at some points were just horrible... the people that made the movie enjoyable for me was charlie and mike, and i could have cared less for them while reading the books!
