  • EXPENSIVE PETROLIUM!!!!!

  • "expecto - patronummmm"

    Oo Holy f*ck

  • Omg!!!!!! That Harry's first Expecto Patronum is really HUGE than he learn small one....

    STRANGE huh?

  • Harry: "Yeah, I can love. Big deal"

    Well, so it seems :)

  • its pinned to my scrotum!

  • WATS THE SONG AT 1:12?! i really LOVE it

  • lol

  • Every...single time i get chills and i dunno if i wanna laugh, cry get chills or be happy all at the same time :D amazing

  • In italian this is 100 times better because it's latin pronounced well

  • @Linfex96 In sapnish it is also pronounced better, besides you can understand the spells like aguamenti.

  • É de arrepiar...

  • this has been on sky recently, easily the best potter movie imho.

  • So agree with Snofreek1818! Gives me shivers too and the part in GoF where Harry just finishes the first task and the stadium is quiet! :]

  • Harry "Harry, i am your father"

Harry "no, it cant be, it's impossible!"

  • This scene was so memorable to me not because of how well the effects were done but by the symbolism of how powerful the memory of family & friends, ultimately love, overpowers everything else.

  • When I read this part in the book, I heard and saw Harry in my mind from the movie.

    One of the best scenes.(:

  • @AvadalsBack what's that white orb floating above sirus blacks mouth?

  • @MrXboxhalolover I think that's his soul but idk.

  • @MrXboxhalolover It's his soul. It's wrong though because the soul is only supposed to comes out when the Dementor gives the Kiss (It clamps its mouth to the victims mouth and sucks it out). This is said to be worse than death and also irreversible.

  • @gamerguy263 Oh yeah it's worse.

  • @SonicFan200000 It's said to be worse. I'm saying this because you cannot experience it and tell people it's worse than death can you? First of all, you can't experience both.

  • See, scenes like this get me wondering, 'So what is exactly was your happy thought Harry? If you were Peter Pan, I bet you could fly to Alpha Centauri with that if your Patronus is a white nuke.'

  • me encanta esta parte de harry potter lo demas son chorradas

  • Com 13 anos soltar um feitiço poderoso desses.

  • my favorite scene from third movie

  • snape saved his life the first time

  • Sends me chills, how harry chants it with feeling =)

  • If you mute the volume at 1:04 it looks like he's screaming "IT'S PINNED TO MY SCROTUM!"

  • @StudioAnimus @tekkenmaster08 @mousergz I saw that GIF too. Don't be a dick and steal people's jokes.

  • @XxD1EAN0TH3RD4YxX Hey, never said I was the one who noticed it, just pointing it out to the good folks here. ;)

  • if you mute it it look likes harry is saying "its pinned to my scrotum".............

  • epic

  • @DigiDestined5555

Id definitely say its the best movie. Id say the best book is 6 but 3 is a VERY close second for me

  • So Harry is a stag now....

  • ITS PINNED TO MY SCROTUM !

  • Comment removed

  • Fail. Why didn't it conjure a stag? Only bad thing about this movie.

  • @Hjgduyhwsgah1

its obviously an incorporeal Patronus; it acts more like a broad ranged shield than an active animal thing. Given the stress of the situation, only forming an incorporeal patronus isn't that far fetched.

  • Ever since I saw “Erizabeth L” by Monty Python I was of the strong opinion that there must also be made an Engrish version of “Hally Pottel”, so that the adventures of him an his friends “Lon” and “Helmione” would be understand in foreign countries as well; so that all the world will hear of his fights against his Nemesis “Vordemolt” and his evil lackeys the “Death Eatels” and of course it should be a surrealistic version on motorized bicycles made by the famous Italian director Visconti!

  • thumbs up if u love harry potter no homo!

  • Comment removed

  • WHERES THE FUCKING STAG

  • @Akantorz12 he's not good enough yet to produce an actual patronus, so he just casts a shield

  • I LOVE the way they did this scene. It was so perfect it gave me the chills. It still gives me the chills every time I watch it. Best scene in POA by far :)

  • 1:09 = "you in the 5th row! TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING MOBILE PHONE!"

  • this is defo in my top 3 favourite scenes in all 7 books and films!

  • hes actin hes so good.. when he said expecto patronum i got so freaked out i started yelling Expecto Patronum out loud

  • *Hits replay countless times and adds to favorites* Just watched the movie today, easily the best scene in the entire movie!

  • @porygonwarrior9000 along with the harry flying buckbeak scene!! :)

  • @mushik888 I couldn't agree more.

  • literally the greatest moment in the entire series

  • Gives me shivers everytime he says it.

  • @Snofreek1818 you are not the only one. I got the shivers as soon as he shouted EXPECTO PATRONUM

  • this metaphor actually means that sometimes you make your own luck^^

  • MELHOR CENA DE TODOS OS FILMES DELE, PARA SEMPRE !

  • I was deeply disappointed by this scene. Given the the talent and resources available, you'd have thought a fantastical , glowing white stag patronus would have been depicted: at first rearing up at Harry's invocation, snorting steam in the cold, noble antlers threatening, and then routing the dementors as if some heraldic beast. But no - we get a damp squib. Terrible :(

  • 3 people are death eaters

  • ahi ahi, ademas de verdad, la mas original en mi opinion es la tercera, y la mas emocionante, y eso que no lucha con voldemort ni nada por el estilo, despues parece que va perdiendo un poco la gracia xd

  • I think this is one of Daniel Radcliffe's bad ass moments. EXPECTO PATRONUM. I always love when he says that!

  • This scene gives me always chills, more than the end fight in the last movie.

  • Can someone explain when harry was there before he said he saw his dad, i swear i saw a horse. can someone explain?

  • 2 people can't do expecto patronaum.

  • This scene is amazing... one of the numerous moments that prove how talented and strong wizard Harry is... even with this early age. Who says the opposite is not seeing the same series I'm. Harry Potter«3

  • This Clip Was Horrible.

  • Best Harry Potter moment

  • THE BEST SCENE EVER IN THE HARRY POTTER SERIEIS. VERY TOUCHING AND BEASTY!!! MADE ME CRY LOL

  • One of the most magical scenes in the series.

  • this makes me cry.

  • someone needs to take this clip, and right at the part where he says patronum needs to replace it with epicmealtime when he says "patroooon"

  • 1:07 One of my favorite scenes in all of the Harry Potter series. Also the Buckbeak scene is amazing. But thumbs up if this is in your top 10 favorite spell scenes throughout the series!

  • @Builderanddestroyer

lol "in my top ten spell scenes"? forget that it's the BEST SCENE of the series, period.

  • @Builderanddestroyer there are 10 spell sceanes in the whole movie ................

  • @Luckybelf in the whole series*

  • This always gives me goosebumps.. :P

  • best movie scene ever!!! always gives me chills! :)

  • i always get chills watching this scene

  • My patronus image would've been Romeo and Juliet seals, because they melted my heart since their beginning!

  • He thought it was the dear was HIS DAD... NO

Then He thought it was Himself...NO

It turns out that Snape sent that dear to come

  • best expecto patronum ever !

  • @andrewGhini It's my favorite spell ever!It's no.1 on top 10 spells on TIME!Patronus RULZ!XD

  • yah i loved this scene o.o

  • this is the only time we see a glimpse of harry being a powerful wizard.

  • this 1 scene is better than all three twilight movies put together

  • EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!

  • anyone knows the name of the background music starting from 1:07?

  • Hermione's standing there like, wtf???? lol best scene ever! x

  • 2 Dementors disliked this video.

  • Goosebumps =3

  • Best scene of the entire series

  • A so heavenly music joins the Patronum... Loved it!...

    T.T

  • 1:07 every time i see this scene i´ve got tear in my eyes TT . TT

  • i just had a full body goosebumps!!!

  • There is a brilliant chapter called "Delivery and Despair: Christian Keys to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" in the book Looking for God in Harry Potter by John Granger that I seriously recommend before anyone watches this movie again. In fact, the entire book opens up an entirely different way of reading the spiritual depth of the Potter narrative, linking it up to the grand tradition of CS Lewis and Tolkien. A must read for any Potter fans, Christian or not.

  • The third one was by far the best book and movie!!!!

  • @DigiDestined5555 thats a lie, the last book and the last movie are the best

  • @damirdurmic17 I disagree, the 3rd is my favorite in the series and I think it's the best one in my personal opinion. People have their opinions so if you like the last one the best then fine. I personally don't think the last movie is one of the better movies in the Harry Potter series.

  • @DigiDestined5555 Entirely agreed.

  • @DigiDestined5555 it was the best book but i prefered harry potter 1 and 7 part 1

  • @DigiDestined5555 nah i think the 6th one is

  • @DigiDestined5555 I think the 7th book was the best. But the 3rd movie was definitely #1!

  • Everyone says that the Prisoner of Azkaban is the best movie yet.

  • @zantiy1 Okay. I'm reading the book right now.

  • @zantiy1 I thought it was quirky, styled and well directed. Best one. But each to their own.

  • i always get goosebumps at the Expecto Patronum part. its EPIC.

  • Most epic scene from all the films!

  • (Evil music playing with sounds of the ghost things) "Your dieing... both of you...) *Harry runs up to the edge of the water* "EXPECTO PATRONUUUUM!" (Soothing high voices plus the sound of the spell)

God, this has got to be the best scene created in the Harry Potter Series. It gives me goosebumps because of the fight against good vs. evil.

  • this is one of my favorite scenes of the whole series including harry potter and the deathly hallows pt. 1

  • i always get goosebumps at this scene. my 2nd favorite scene of the whole series

  • EXPECTO PATRONUUUUUUMMM

  • @ZahraLovesVFC sigh, sigh

  • EXPENSIVE PETROLIUM!!!!!

  • @friendlycakeasaurus hahahaha love it!

  • @friendlycakeasaurus LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

  • @friendlycakeasaurus SMELLYARMPITS!

  • The patronus here looks like a giant Lumos Maxima. Anyway it's still okay.

  • 1:07!

  • KAME HAME HAME HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • I love this scene so much!!! It's sill my favourite in the series.

That shot from 1:35 to 1:40 it's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

Music is of coures top-notch, so are visual effects.

    Just wonderful. :)

  • the dementors must share 1 youtube account

  • this scene is not as dramatic as i remember

  • this has always been my favorite scene of the movie

  • i never fail to get goosebumps when he casts the spell-and i've seen this film so many times-it never gets old! :') long live potter

  • JK Rowling should make a prequel to these books "The Rise of Tom Riddle" or about Harrys parents... That would be cool!

  • the guy who disliked this video was a dementor

  • I love when the realization hits his face and he runs forward. Great turning point in the book where he realizes what he can do :)

  • Great scene!

  • this movie is amazing. It's going to be so sad in July when the last one comes out :(

  • i really like how the dementors look in this movie; they look way better than they do in the newer ones

  • is it i expect my protection? or is it i expect my patronus?

  • Interesting point is that in the novel, Hermione is with Harry when he tries to cast a patronus the first time (when with Sirius) but when he tries it the second time (as shown here) Hermoine is not with him (She stays in Hagrids hut.) And here it's the exact opposite =D

  • this melody sounds like its sung by angels

  • lol at 1:12

  • expecto patronum and expelliarmus seems like the only spells harry has mastered

  • @Rxycl3 you forgot stupefy =) but other than that, you're right

  • everytime i watch this scene and he says expecto patronum it gives me the chills its such a great and powerful scene i love itttt

  • together with dumbledore fighting the inferi, this is the most epic scene in any harry potter movie!

  • dude this is the best moment of the whole series in my opinion...when he kills voldemort in part 2 it will be more epic for sure

  • this is without a doubt my favorite movie right by the deathly hollows the rest I couldn't really get into

  • That was a legendary scene. You really stopped and start to believe Harry Potter is a powerful wizard.

  • Crowning Moment of Awesome for the entire series.

  • Gotta love latin

  • And Voldy still had the nerve to mess with him. Diggin' his own grave.

  • I remember watching this in the cinema and being completely overwhelmed by how perfect this seen is. I get pinned in my chair with goosebumps every single time!

  • BEST M0MENT IN HP!!! EVA!!

  • Just breathtaking, absolutely breath taking. Brings tears to my eyes...

  • Gives me gousebumps every time.

  • wheres the stag?

  • @Puppy21346, this is after the stag. harry potter is the stag himself right now

  • expecto patronum means: I am waiting for the protection

  • @BanuuuH

Well Actually, It Means; I Am Waiting for My ProtectOR

    xd

  • @thijs674 no it means:

    I await a protector

  • @thijs674

    yeah you're right ;-D

can you latin ? I'm learning it in switzerland

  • @BanuuuH What it really means is: I am expecting the protector.

  • @BanuuuH i took latin and it liiteraly means i await a protector.

  • @BanuuuH i thought expecto patronum means i expected protection but your is ok :D

  • @supercool918

    noo it's present

  • @BanuuuH Lol then it could still be historic praesens :P I study Latin at school so I know but most probably it's present :P

  • @BanuuuH no shit -____-

  • @BanuuuH actually , i am waiting for the protector ( i know latin :P)

  • @BanuuuH Technically it means "I await the patron." you know, Latin. I've had four years of it.

  • @BanuuuH: In Latin - Patronus means "Protector" and in Old Latin it means "Father." So in reality "Expecto Patronus means "I away for a protector" or "I await for my father"

  • @BanuuuH Yes...

  • @BanuuuH are you sure ? or you joke ? its in whcih language ?

  • @Steph4Xmen I'm not joking, it's in latin ;-D yes I'm sure ;)

  • /chills

  • @0clocks0 lol me too :)

  • A breath taking moment in cinema history in my opinion. Totally wasnt expecting this. John Williams maybe most beautiful work since Hook

  • I always love the music of the patronus, cause it makes me feel safe

  • @KingNice92 John Williams is quite the brilliant man.

  • @KingNice92 i was just going to type that xd
