  • ooooooh my god, I would just be freaking out. how the hell am i going to do this without a panic attack. i can't stand anything touching my eyes.

  • She's lucky cause she already has beautifully colored eyes- there'd really be no point in me getting LASIK cause I'll be wearing blue color contact lenses over my brown eyes till I die lol.

  • that, my dear friends, is an awesome bandana!

  • Haha glad i did that b4 i saw this video...

  • woooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! lol

  • i wish when i do this, doctors be nice as that one

  • i would love to know what this womans eyesight was to start with just my curiousity

  • Say what you like, but wearing glasses and contacts is a pain. Wish my eyesight was perfect.

  • Hmm.

Don't be lulled into this ugly stuff. Laser treatment is very, VERY painful, & they do anything to play down the pain of any cosmetic surgery recovery

End of the day, it's all unnecessary. we're bombarded with ads to make us think it's all about becoming more confident = nonsense.

I've been trhough a lot of non-elective surgery, guess what, for real diseases, and I can't begin to imagine the person who would choose to put themself through severe pain..for their looks. It's depressing.

  • @pianomags Not all that painful in my case. No pain during the procedure. Only some discomfort afterwards for a few days. I understand it is not for everybody but it can be a success story. I even came back home from the clinic on my own. And that was 10 years ago. I am still very happy about the whole experience.

  • @MoiraSanna Thanks for letting me know about that - you are the 1st person I've heard from who didn't mind the whole thing.

My 2 friends who put themselves through it both now wear glasses again, as short sight always corrects itself in your late 30s...and they are now both long-sighted.

I'm really glad it's helped you. The whole culture of "improving" our appearance (because of what we believe looks more acceptable/nicer) through invasive stuff like this worries me a lot. But good for you.

  • @pianomags These are 2 DIFFERENT issues. As we age, the lens becomes less flexible making it harder to focus, as a result our eyes sit in their relaxed state of looking far away - people need reading glasses (long sighted) to compensate for this. Short sightedness certainly does NOT cure itself when you hit your 30s.

  • @c0deape Of course. But it's fairly well known that most people who wear glasses for short sightedness in their 20s find themselves bercoming less short sighted as their normal-sighted colleagues start needing glasses for being long sightedness. Everyone I know who has had this laser treatment not only found it very uncomfortable, they are now wearing glasses, again, just at a different prescription. No one I know has found whatthey went through worth the discomfort, or the money; it's a shame.

  • @pianomags not painful in my case either... Again, little achey for a few days after, but the procedure doesnt hurt. I've had it done twice (vision was very very poor to start with, so after initial surgery needed an "enhancement"). Its not for "looks" either. Depending on glasses limits A LOT of activities, and my eyes began to reject contacts (had been wearing them for 15 years).

  • was it really 1300$ for both eye??

is it compatiable for people who age is 17??

  • hahaha

she read the numbers on the box wrong.

  • here its 1300$ for both eyes :)

  • On the revised repeat just show on television, she said it was the best thing she ever did.

    .

I'd like to have a look at her up close; she reading then watchin tv and or using a laptop screen, to see if there is much getting used to as far as her tri-focal prescription is concerned.

    .

    great video -thanks for posting.

    .

  • "for years I've hidden behind my glasses"

    omg woman stfu

  • if youtube is going to turn into a website that has advertising before every video im leaving.

  • @fudge1monkey Well its whats going to happen my friend.

  • I want that!

  • hows that nasty? i have glases and i would get the lazer surgery later on but to me it doesnt look nasty. (living with glanses is normal but to me i hate wearing glases!)

  • If you get laser eye surgery alot of people come out with dry eyes and night glare somtimes permanent. I would rather stick to contacts ty :)

  • had it done 11 years ago. still perfect. money well spent.

  • how much did you spend and hows the vision at night?

  • 1500 pounds/$2500. Apparently there can be haziness around street lights and car headlights from the scarring but my night vision is great and i've not experienced any difficulty..

  • i better start saving money

  • @neilpeel71 I have never had Lasik surgery before but I have haziness on street lights at night . It irritates the crap out of me . The Doc said I had a spot on the back of my cornia that caused that Halo .

  • I would love to have that done, because i wear glasses, but the only thing is, i wouldnt be able to want to see the laser come into my eye.

    Ew.

  • @JessyMay1234 they blind you for a few moments while they are giving yu the lasic :)

  • it's a no from me thank you. grrr

  • Ew ew ew. I wouldn't have that!

  • thank you so much technologie

  • omg how skinny is she ??

  • laser eye surgery is not as good and safe as the companies tell you. many companies don't even hire people who have had eye surgery as they can go bad and irreversible so quickly.

  • @screwmanx there are barely any problems that have ever happened in laser eye surgery its so advanced that there is probably just a few people out there that have been hurt bye it they have a meeting with everybody that has it before they do it and if their eyes arnt compatable they wont let them do it and thats why they have such a high sucess rate :)

  • @PayChecksTalkTV

Not quite. The US FDA is considering banning this procedure b/c of the massive complication rate.

  • you must be a right sad loser to go on a programme like that.

  • lol shegot the number wrong when she was reading it she sed 8 instead of 6

  • I am not having that.

  • this makes me cringe lol

  • i was told by doctor my eyes are apparently too bad for laser surgery. i would pay 10 thousand pounds for them to be fixed can anyone recomend good surgeon???

  • I had laser surgery and i am 100% happy with it, its sorted my eyes right out.

Pain free treatment and long term results, are well worth the thousands it cost.

  • was it the same as this womans? i would like to do it to...how long was your procedure?

  • what a pile of fucked up shit you're going on about

    fuck you dickwadded cunt

  • Lol, no

  • sounds cool, where can I find said kit?

  • When they pulled the flap up on her eye I went X/ It made me feel queesy lol but laser eye sergery looks amazing.

  • why was she not raped by a woman, you sexist bag of shit

  • youtube comments why bother...

  • The whole operation took only 3 minutes for me and the laser itself was only 8 seconds per eye!!! When you sit up you can tell immediately that it has worked and there is just a light white mist. You wear sunglasses to go home and then have a snooze for an hour and it gradually gets better over the hours. I have only had a few headaches as my eyes have healed and I have better than 20:20 vision (20.14:20.12 to be precise). ITS A LOT OF MONEY BUT SO WORTH IT! i got it done with Optical Express.

  • I had laser eye surgery a few months ago and IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID!!!!! So amazing to not have to wear glasses anymore. There was absolutely no pain whatsoever, I know it looks horrendous but really there is no pain. Only thing was pressure on your eye when they are cutting the flap. You don;t see anything, just alot of black and you stare at a red light. Drops in your eyes prevent you from moving your eye around and it is clamped of course.

  • i have made a study on these techniques from watching videos and might want to become a scientist. it looks obvious that you need strong eyes for this surgery, but your eyes can get a lot stronger with not wearing glasses. so to weigh up both sides of the argument i would have to say that it depends on how good you can see, but some people are afraid and others have no money. so the debate is still out.

  • I no yeah... I was clenching my swivvel chair like mad when they were lazering her!

  • what the doctors are doing to save her eyes is quite simple. they inject liquid plastic into her eyes which helps the white bits grow stronger, which in turn makes the black bit in the middle twice as strong. when the eye is stronger, it can see much further and in the dark, its a proven fact. this woman could have went blind if she didn't get this operation done, but she was lucky because this new surgery just came out when she was looking at the internet for new glasses.

  • Yeah, thanks for that burst of knowledge that I knew.

  • looks scary and painfull... i wouldnt do it

  • fucking raw...

  • i shudnt hav watchd dis video.. i was plannin to do dis in summer.. now im uber scared

  • don't worrie! my frend did it, she felt barley anything. We talked alot about it.

  • I don't think I should have just watched that video after having two major ulcers, a cataract and a corneal graft operation whereby I have to wait 6 months for my stitches to come out only to have another op to remove the cataract and a recommendation that I finally have....laser eye surgery on the NHS. Nearly three years of eye hassle and severe pain and still my fascination takes me to videos like these. *slaps own wrists*

  • even though some of us are like, "aaah it doesnt work some of the time" it is fucking genius.

    x

  • wats teh song at the start

  • In the 80's or something i think

  • acceptcable in the 80s - calvin harris :)

  • thanks dude

  • that must be such a weird experience

  • You don't know me,so don't act like you do

  • what?

  • i knew u once an u broke ma heart beetch

  • hm?!

  • r u awake wen thy do this? dose it hurt? cuz im short sighted n i want laser eye. plz reply

  • It doesn't hurt, don't worry (there may be some discomfort but no actual pain).

  • Yeah, they numb your eyes, so you don't feel anything really.

  • i woundn't just think how long this has been around maybe 10 or 15 years how do you know in 20 years time you might go blind... its a bit risky and cost abit too.

  • thats what I thought but as in everything there are risks and you pay to minimise the risks. They have done 1000s of these operations around the world so you just have to trust them.

  • I have seen thousands of these procedures done. Thats my job, operating the lasers. Its a VERY safe procedure

  • well, you need money, and judging by your idiocy i would say you are poor, and can't afford..

  • scary,I`m 56,i hate my glasses,but seeing what they do,I`m running !!!!!

  • I heard that theres 50 percent chance of it failing. Is that true?

  • depends if you pay for the best operation. They do say there is a chance of your eyes not healing perfectly. It is surgery after all and you have risks with everything. If you go for the wavefront technology there is less risk of it mucking up but its really down to your body healing and eyes repairing to their original state.

  • gay... i dont know why im even watching this. im 17, so if i do this ill look 7!
