i'm just wondering seeing some of your fights in comhracbas were like that of a filipino grand master that i knew, he's more or less 72 years old now but his art was taught to selected persons only....just want to ask if you've really learned from a filipino martial artist? thanks
@bogkyows If you liked the CB: Do you have Savage Street Skills? How about VDA--take a look those really blast you forward. I did only stick training in the Philippines: my CBJKD, CB and VDA were dominative there
So true! Between studying JKD and Kali with Chris Kent for 6years and applying as much as I could from Paul Vunak , Frank Cucci and Chris Clugston's Combat JKD and Comrach bas tapes over the years. You have to Evolve to survive and put it away as a sport and understand "true" self defense! Its not a sport its SURVIVAL ! I have learned alot from Mr. Clugston and have applied alot of his training to mine over the years. It works!, its' helped me in security protection/ bouncing, and mindset!
Have you researched Renaissance fighting systems and tactics? I am intrigued by Comhrac Bas, but don't know anything about it. I appreciate your research into european historic fighting systems, and would like to share with you a few traditional techniques and martial concepts passed down through my family over the years in exchange for knowledge concerning Comhrac Bas.
Great stuff, it will totally catch someone off guard with these techniques. Plus Chris has fought professionally something these other "self proclamed" instructors haven't.
Karate and the other so called "traditional" arts were made famous by hollywood. Their effectiveness was never questioned because they looked cool and exotic.
Cool. There are scenarios on those tapes. Bar scenes. ATms. But, yes, I have gone beyond the TRS tapes. Any questions you have jsut ask us. We´re here to make you better. Check out VDA, for example.
After reasearching alot of material i have found Comrach bas from a fighting perspective To be the best selfdefense from a physical standpoint. In your evolution do you plan to ,or do you already incorporate scenario training and the use of verbal de escalation ?
What DVDs do you have? What you ask is clearly answered. As for evolving--about to make a big evolution public. Check out our Forumn and Inner Core to be the First in the Loop.

I love it
I been telling people that the Phiippinos were influenced by the Spanish and of course most people hate me when I tell them that
It is nice to see someone else out there saying it like it is
