She's a strong female character that knows what she wants, and she fights to get it. She doesn't only sing for herself either. She sings for all the people around her, trying to give people hope when all seems to be lost. Sheryl is independent and doesn't have to be saved all the time (unlike another female in this series).

Sheryl and Alto have a chemistry that Alto and Ranka never had in my opinion, and I'm glad that Alto and Sheryl got each other.
