I've seen the footage of the skull before and it isn't from a giant or a spawn of Satan, it's from the practice of 'head wrapping' children from birth. An old tribal custom, and barbaric, but essentially they bound a child's skull from birth, stopping it from growing normally. As the child's skull grew, instead of being able to grow out, as is usual, it could only grow towards the back, creating the elongated look. It's also been used in 'proof of aliens' clips too, and you should be ashamed

@MichaelTheDespoiler yes but you have to understand the reason for doing this. they say humans are imitative creatures,monkey see monkey do. so it would be possible that a tribe saw something that had this appearance and wanting to strive towards that image(since they didnt know better), they attempted to elongate their skull to copy what some researchers believe to be these aliens, just a hypothesis, but of course you should have your doubts. this whole satan thing is pretty humorous.

It is indeed true that it's likely that head wrapping was linked with something else they had seen, although what this may have been is anyone's guess. Quite a lot of the copying can be put down to birth defects - an elongated skull is entirely possible through desease and other defects, which may be what was being copied, who knows. :)

In regards to why an ancient ritual would involve head wrapping, why anything at all? Usually it's tied to primitive belief systems, generally based on power or influence. It could be that they believed that a longer head meant closer spiritual connection to their deity, which gave them power nobody knows for sure.
