hm... no matter what, my videos always lag on the sound. But I know I'm missing something here... Almost every GBA vid I've seen that's been recorded this way doesn't have this problem. I've seen it explained before but I don't know how to fix it... maybe it's the type of codec used to record it?

It could be. I know I always have to go back and edit my recordings with Windows Movie Maker to fix the sound.

I resolved a problem using camtasia: I cut little pieces of audio and then replace it with a correct sync with the video, is hard, but is the only method!!!

At a certain point, the audio plays something, that the video already has passed minutes ago.

The best way to solve that problem is to go back and fix the sound so it works with the scene/lip sync. I had to do this for a while with Windows Movie Maker. Its a burden but it fixes the sound issue.

i don't have the divX 5.0.5 codec, but i have a divX 6.6.1 codec, but after i recorded using that it said that the avi was 0 bytes.

long enough definitely, at least 2 minutes. windows explorer just labels it as having 0 KB, and then when i open it it's just a 0-second media file. do you think i'm missing some file associated with divX, or something? thanks for the help, btw.

Hm, that is odd. I would suggest trying one of the other recording options. If all the options give you the same result then there maybe be something wrong with your Visualboy and you may have to download another one.

i fixed the problem a while ago, it worked when i downloaded divx 5 and used it. thanks though.

It actually works using things other than the divx 5.0.5 codec. Any particular reaosn you use that one?
