TOTALLY agree. We have lost our reverence for Our Lord AND His house. People chatting inside the church after Mass- aka "fellowship"... Unlike our Non-Catholic brothers and sisters, Our Lord is physically present inside the tabernacle... If the queen of England or the President of the United States was inside our church would we be "fellowshipping" away or would we stand/sit quietly in respect? Think we can all figure that one out... and they're just human beings!
Young Catholics did not live through Vatican I. The people in the congregation did. And as part of the tradition, would you like your wife to wear a hat to mass, and your daughter to suffer in silence as she can not be an altar server?
