@: apparently that video is filmed, on film mind you, in one continuous shot up until Grant runs up the stairs and opens the roof door into the daylight. Yes, it is a pretty good video. The Magnolias had some pretty good videos, too, that had some quirky shots A's well as cool warehouse district locations
I remember this show. I was there. This was shortly before they imploded for good. This was one of the two strangest Nova Mob shows I ever did see. Both was because they seemed to go thru drummers every six months. Grant just had to fill in for whatever drummer flew the coop sort of that week, The other "weird" Nova Mob show that I saw in the Entry was when the band was still a three piece and again, the drummer had quit, so Grant and Tom just went on and did a drummerless set.
One of the best songs of the 20th century. (and yes, that IS my personal opinion, I admit)... Have you cats seen the actual video to this song? It is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen in my entire life. when I watch it, I want to just hug and kiss him, and tell him how much I love him. Sorry to be so corny, but the truth to you I tell.
Nice! I missed this tour only because they broke up the day before so they didn't play Bellingham, WA. The next night though in Seattle is when the import-only Ecce Homo CD was recorded.
Thanks so much for sharing this. I had no idea that Grant performed behind the drum kit for Nova Mob! I'd always assumed he was playing guitar and singing for their live shows.
