Od carske Rusije,pa do nase partizanske pesme.....sve generacije su je prihvatale i samo tekst menjale.Cinjenica je da smo sve lepe pesme uzimali od Rusa i malo ko u Jugoslavii je znao da to nisu nase ,originalne pesme.

Dear friends, I dont know whether you know or dont know that this song was extremely popular in Yugoslavia from 1945 do 1991. Yugoslav communists rearranged it during the World War II, changing the lyrics completely so that the song would glorify their readiness for self-scarifying in combats against fascist occupiers. As children (pioneers), we al had to sing it in schools, for many years, never knowing that it was not authentic, but a copy of an older Russian song.

I really don't understand what are you people talking about. It is still a great song. just imagine the great alexandrov red army chorus singing that song 80 years ago in front of red commies. there was only eight of them in uniforms as those youngsters wearing (with pagons also) now it is one of the best ensembles ever existed.
