They updated their website. Apparently they said at this rate its gonna be out on vinyl through Pentimento before Victory releases it on cd/digitally. Give it a few months.. I know it's really hard :(

99sor album coming soon, new original album coming soon as well, the reason theres always such a long wait is because of how much they tour, they are on tour about 300 days a year usually, but since they are on a hiatus till late 2010 they will have time to write and produce their next album, which they will start touring again to promote, we can only hope that mike soprano will play on the album, but live shows will be noticable different now

Damn when i saw the title i went crazy. I love this song and SM is my favorite band so it works out nicely i just wish it was better sound. i cant wait for them to release 99 songs of revolution. It will be quite excellent i think.

they never said anything about being away more than a year.

"we will be entering hibernation for the winter and hope to return sometime in mid 2010" they basicly make a yearly trip round the country so this will just hault their yearly trip about half a year. i mean hell they have been touring non stop how many years now. so barely a break at all for fan. just a nice break for them.

At the show, Tom said that they wouldn't return to the road until they finished their next album. He then joked that it would be 'four to seven years' which is (kind of) exaggerated, but I know for a fact it'll take at least two years to record.

Yep, he did. They announced it online a few weeks before the show, and they said it again during the show.

Well it'll be a few years before they're touring again, I can't imagine they'll go without a trombone. It's kind of necessary for the sound. Besides, they're replaced just about every other member of the band over the last 6 years anyway!
