your horse should have wraps on!!! Do you want him to go lame when he is only 10 years old?? Every young horse that jumps or even does work should ALWAYS have wraps on because there bones are still growinG!!! and you shouldnt be riding him a lot either because the plates in his back will be bent and when he is just a little older, he will get a swayed back
wraps will not prevent all injuries. and this looks like it's definitely a sale video, they wanted to show off his flashy socks, and it looks more appealing to show off his flashy socks rather than cover them up and make them look awkward with boots. if he really needed boots for brushing or overreaching, i'm sure the owners would have put boots on him.
From what's on this video, this horse is being worked just like he should be at his age. He's getting light hacks on the flat, nothing strenuous is being asked of him, he is not getting jumped while ridden, and his free-jumping was at a height that was very easy for him to do, he did not have to work to get over that fence. He's being started just like any young horse should. It looks like he's got some manners and is very well-behaved and respects his handlers as much as any 3yr old can.
Id like you to know that all of Atticus's training has be pre-approved with a vet on his readiness. Because of his size, his training has been gradual. He is a wonderful horse because he is not pushed and always exceeds the expectations of what he is asked. Thanks for your interest.
how much are you asking for this horse?
