  • The penguins don`t deserve Crosby, he belongs in a Canadian city.

  • Crosby to any team in Canada except the habs!!

  • @xraven777x if you've ever been to a Pens game in Pittsburgh you might think differently...

  • what happened to the Canadian Anthem. Crosbys from Canada and he won gold for Canada so where's the canadian anthem representing Canada.

  • @biebsbeadlescg1997 With the exception of the Winter Classic, they only sing the Canadian national anthem during the regular season when they're playing a team from Canada.

  • i wish crosby could play for a canadian team where he would be unconditonally loved not like down in the USA! USA!USA! the yanks just dont get it....the hate runs deep!!

  • Crosby is not a traitor. the Pittsburgh fans just forgot which country he really belonged too!!

  • way to respect your captain penguins fans. booing him is real mature

  • ok honestly if u live in the usa how the fuck can u clap when the other country scores the game winning fucking goal.... give me a fucking break but that is bull shit who gives a rats ass if hes on ur team ur not from canada ur from the usa so why u stop clapping for sidney crosby and start booing his ass

  • GO HAWKS!!!!

  • As a Flyers fan I'm not sad you guys lost, but I know the feeling all too well. If anything maybe the Canadians will win the Cup as the 8 seed. I don't think anybody can doubt they've had a tough road.

Its a strech to ask for it, but from the sporting side of things root for us. 4 straight wins would be epic to see any team do.

  • @PSUBLJ You are right. I have no love for the Flyers, but I am a fan of the game. Seeing a comeback from 3-0 down would be a great story especially with as many injuries as Philly had. The goaltending story is another miraculous one. I will watch the final month of the Stanley Cup playoffs from afar, which is strange for a Penguins fan, but we have indeed been spoiled these last couple of years. It will be interesting to watch the rest unfold from an objective perspective.

  • I love the classy move by both the Penguins organization and the fans to recognize the Olympians but most importantly Ryan Miller.

  • it must be so strange to be an american fan of pittsburgh cuz sidney crosby plays for ur favorite team but he scored the game winning goal agaisntur country's team.....

  • Let them boo... lol..them seem to have fogotten that it was a certain Canadian that saved them

  • Great video and great fans. Love you guys!

  • Thanks.

  • Great video. And what kind of camera is this? The picture's really good and the audio's awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • @pattijor I use a Flip Mino HD. Very small, relatively inexpensive, but with surprisingly good quality.

  • oh haha i know he isnt. Im Canadian too and the only reason i said that was cuz some american said "crosby is the most hated man in america" just because he played for his country and helped them win. I found that stupid and said that if you call crosby the most hated man in USA , i cant say that too miller. I didnt mean it, i was just trying to prove it (: GO CANADA !!

  • prove a point***, not prove it

  • Sidney Crosby + Ryan Miller pwns everyone.

  • Wow booing your Captain that's just sad.. I'm from Canada and a fan of the Kitchener rangers ohl from Ontario when team USA won the world juniors there was a ceremony like this for all the players who took part in the tournament. And Jeremy Morin an American kid who plays for the Rangers got a standing ovation !! Set aside your loss for awhile and congratulate the players on their personal accomplishments even though it might not be in your favor..... This is HUGE for them!!!

  • @kitchenerrangerfan they were booing the game-winning goal sidney scored to beat the united states, not sidney himself.

  • @kitchenerrangerfan They weren't booing Crosby. They were booing the goal.

  • usa usa usa

  • I understand the people in Pittsburgh booing the moment that their country's team lost the gold medal. I'm also happy that they gave Crosby himself a big ovation. None of this is controversial. If Ryan Kesler scored in overtime for USA, as a Vancouverite, I would boo the goal, but applaud Kesler as well.

  • @makeup- i would've cheered Crosbey, even though I'm a USA fan... and we all KNOW crosbey worked hard for it, but some people are bigger fans than others. Also, they booed the GOAL, not him himself. I mean, he stole the medal from USA, but, hey, he understood, this is an AMERICAN city, and so, they were pretty mad that he scored the winning goal...

  • americans are so rude, and self centred people.sidney worked hard for that gold and NO ONE should be booing them, that is so rude.

  • Not to mention he is their captain..

  • @makeupforever8 I'm sorry, but did you watch much of the Olympics? Hell, forget everything outside of men's hockey. Did you see many of the games the American men's team played? Every game was attended by vast numbers of Canadians who more or less showed up to loudly cheer against the American team. I like Crosby, and booing him here isn't classy, but please spare me the "Americans are rude and self-centered" rhetoric. Transgressions have been made by all here...

  • your right i shouldnt have said that,

    bad choice of words

  • Booing Crosby was uncalled for, but booing a country's national anthem is worse. I forget where that happened, Montreal I think. That was fucked up.

  • awesome vid

  • I know Miller and the rest of the US team played phenomenal. They deserve all the appraise they get but so does team Canada and Crosby. Booing just because they showed the winning goal? Crosby should leave the Penguins and see what would become of this team. What an ungrateful bunch of sorry excuses for fans. They don't deserve all the cups Lemeix and Crosby brought.

  • CANADA CANADA CANADA CANADA

  • @canada995

2010 was the best olympics ever!

  • I heard that the US was going to make a special dollar bill with hockey on the back, considering it now belongs on the back of the US dollar more so than the canadian dollar

  • good 4 them.

    P.S who gives a shit

  • @cdemarco16 how does it belong on the US dollar more than a Canadian dollar?

  • Comment removed

  • oh really? if you're saying USA have robbed Canadians of hockey then where is the americans gold medal....oh right around the necks of the Canadian womens and mens hockey teams. haha

  • hahaha

I don't know what he was talking about.

How about Ryan Miller replaces George Washington as well? lmao

GW couldn't stop mad shots like that anyway, what a punk.

  • USA USA USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was @ this game. when people started to boo it made me mad. Ya your upset US lost but they had a heck of a game an Im glad we all cheered for Miller. But We should also be proud cause Crosby is on our team (if ur a pens fan) an it was a fantastic goal. I say way to go Crosby. We should be proud of both teams not dumb an boo. If ur a fan you wouldnt boo just cause he was on his home team in the Olympics. If Canada would of lost no 1 would of said a word about him. People are dumb sometimes

  • I understand what you're saying, but lets be honest here. Canadians booed our national anthem once. I wouldn't be shocked if you booed Ryan Miller if we had won gold.

  • No i dont think i would of. I dont boo other players. and I would of been happy if US would of won as well. Win or lose i just think that people should be proud of the players esp if its there fav. players. Ya they booed our national anthem and i think thats dumb as well. but i cant fix other people. I was just said that his fans booed his accomplish.

  • Woops I didn't mean "you" I meant "they".

Anyway I understand what you mean.

  • ya. some people are dumb and are rude and will boo no matter what. i dont think they should of booed at all. the game was amazing both teams were amazing.

    haha its all good

  • USA USA USA

  • Thank you to whoever posted this. Those of us in Buffalo looking forward to seeing what Pittsburgh would do got robbed since MSG chose to run a commercial while this happened. It's great to see!

  • opreciated?? Wow... go back to middle school

  • comon man they fucking boo'd sid the kid!! he needs to come to WASHINGTON DC where hes operciated like ovi

  • did you just say Crosby needs to come to Washington? Crosby is the most hated player in Washington. lol

  • they don't appreciate him, there just a bandwagon

  • one word...CANADA!!! suck it suckers.

  • Penguins stadium is really quiet compared to the Flyers. Is it the cameras recorder or is it truly quiet?

  • It was loud, but this was a recognition ceremony not the playoffs. That's one thing I'll miss about the Igloo--the volume level. I just hope the new barn across the street is capable of generating the same sound the Igloo can.

  • @eurydice24 actually the new arena will be much louder because the igloo's ceiling is much higher and there is a lot more open space... whereas in the new arena there will be a lower ceiling

  • BANDWAGONERS R BOOING

all the fans that boo'd him and his goal...all i can say is really?!?!

wow ur really not fans then...

  • I say again...the GOAL was booed, not Sid.

  • so...might as well be booing sid

    it was his goal

come on pens fans SUPPORT!!!! :D

  • Support your country or your player? Id pick COUNTRY over player any day of the week. Players come and go. The country always remains.

  • @aimzers coudln't have said it any better...

  • @aimzers

yea cuz crosbys going to come and go...

  • @eurydice24 you make a very good point there. Do you think Crosby felt bad about it?

  • @PheonixDown2003 If you're referring to the goal getting booed, he didn't feel bad about it at all. In an interview after the game, he said that it was just what he expected (and not in a bad way). He's a great player, captain, person and we love him here in Pittsburgh. He knows that.

  • @eurydice24 *sigh* Pittsburgh, just visited for the first time to watch the Pens beat the Thrashers. Shared the hotel with the thrashers @ Double Tree. great city, and I'm happy you guys have Sid. Here's to the repeat... GO PENS! =)

  • Very cool! Love the post and am posting on my facebook page!

  • All this USA and Canada stuff is starting to get lame

it was cool at first but now its just getting silly and over played

let's all put our flags away and get on with the rest of the NHL season and get ready for the NHL playoffs

  • @ColdDish1 If by overplayed you mean just before the Olympics and the week after so far than I would disagree. Its every 4 years and things will be back to normal next week I'd guess.

  • @fairtaxhtown

lol I totally agree with the first part...but not so much with the 'back to normal' part just quite yet.

    it's been..what? 3 weeks since the olympics?

I'm from Vancouver...and i can say we are all suffering from major olympics hangover :(

  • I love the fact that they were honored people booing Crosby was great. I'm glad they did, I hope he knows he is the most hated person in the U.S.

  • @DML2451 lol he is the biggest hero in Canada and that is all that matters

  • why cuz he played for HIS COUNTRY and helped them win? I would say that Ryan Miller is the most hated person in Canada right now.

  • @purebldcullenvamp

    whoa there.

we Canadians have nothing against Ryan Miller.

He is a great goalie and we totally respect that.

Luongo plays for my team (canucks) and I will boldly say (going against my canucks faith) he is not playing at the top of his game. He did not for the Olympics either.

  • I'm glad Pittsburgh did this. Great class by them and this is coming from a Flyers fan. I think it's safe to say that Ryan Miller is now the face of USA Hockey.

I'm surprised that they actually showed the goal on the scoreboard, I know Crosby is a Penguin but he scored for Canada in the Olympics did the Penguin organization not think that would get booed, it was kinda strange.

I'm sure Miller's reaction in Buffalo will be defeaning. I hope Miller gets that kind of reaction across America.

  • great honor to ryan miller

  • I think the Pittsburgh fans handled it perfectly. I'm from New Jersey and a Devils fan, but I know that Pittsburgh has awesome fans. I remember it was either earlier this year, or last year, Brodeur broke one of his records in Pittsburgh, and the fans gave him a very warm round of applause, even though the Penguins lost the game. Great, classy fans in Pittsburgh, who appreciate good hockey.

  • it was this year... and it was his shutout record that he broke against us. Brodeur deserved it and glad pittsburgh showed it.

  • Announcer talks over the USA chant wtf

  • Also gotta mention that our announcer at mellon arena is annoying... You would think he was doing a WWE wrestling show..

  • People from Pittsburgh respect accomplishments by players on every team... Marty Brodeur got a standing ovation when he broke the shutout record against the Pens. Im very proud to be from Pittsburgh!!

  • I am a Sabres fan 100% and have been since birth. For the first time ever, I can say I respect Penguin fans immensely after what they did for Ryan Miller. Good for you, fans!!!

As far as here in Buffalo, I can't WAIT to see our fans pull out all the stops. The public service announcer will have to shut us up because we aren't going to sit down and stop screaming until they make us!!!!

  • AMAZING to see Pittsburgh fans give the opposing team's goalie such an ovation. THAT is what I call AMERICAN PRIDE. The crowd's country's goalie got a bigger and better ovation by far than their star player. The crowd was yelling USA and MVP for Miller...it was AWESOME!!!

When they showed Crosby's goal, there were boos lol it was GREAT! What you DON'T see is that later in the game they showed the goal AGAIN and the crowd booed even LOUDER...MUCH LOUDER!

  • I don't see why the Pittsburgh arena had to show the goal, I think that was a kick in the groin for all Americans and I'm sure Crosby and other True North Canadians watching didn't think it was appropriate...Americans should be proud they received silver and played such an amazing game against us Canucks! Hold your heads up high!

I'm from CANADA and married to a beautiful AMERICAN!!!!!

  • Boo if you want.

    Gold > Silver

  • I'm a 23-year Penguins fan. But the Team USA overtime loss still stings and I would boo that Crosby goal, as well. Ryan Miller deserved the loudest ovation. What class by the Pittsburgh fans. Buffalo, you are lucky to have Miller in net.

  • This is the only time Pens fans will ever boo Crosby (unless he gets traded someday)...too funny.

Miller is awesome and I am a Sabres fan but Canada is my home...so let's just get all the nationalistic cheering out of our systems then stop it with the Olympic crap and win that damn Stanley Cup for Buffalo once and for all

  • I'm a flyers fan...so I'm not a huge Pens guy. But I have a lot of respect for you guys looking past what can sometimes be an overwhelming storm of Crosby and really appreciate Ryan Miller. I love the Olympics for bringing everybody together. Now I'm just annoyed the Flyers have to play the Sabers...more than likely.

Great video, goodluck the rest of the way, lets not play in the first round again.lol

  • Thank you SO much for sharing this! The ovations for both Miller and Crosby were awesome, and of course, well deserved. You have great seats, and thanks again for sharing this experience via youtube!
