"Please for the love of God do not add tomato to this dish"… LOL! Hilarious. And you are right, it DOES matter how you cut the onions, slicing them rather than dicing them makes a big difference. Diced onions disintegrate faster and will add too much liquid to the dish.
i made this recipe tonight. such a huge success! my mom says its her new favorite. i also made your naan bread a couple of days ago with some mulligatawny. we've had naan almost every night since (: if you know whats good for my family, make more recipe vids! you have a talent!
You make it so much different, and i am sorry but it is half moons, i grew up in czech republic and my family ALWAYS used the diced, and we use flour with the sour cream, here in america the sour cream is strangely thick so i guess you dont need flour here. and we cook ours for 1 hour 30 minutes and in the oven. and we use milk also. and you also spell it different, it is kure na paprice or chicken papriaks
THANK YOU! I could feel my grandmother turning over in her grave when I saw someone making this on another video using TOMATO SAUCE and huge, chunky onions; not to mention white wine. They also served it over rice and we would have had it over pulisko? Corn meal mush or maybe dumplings. She did use chicken borth instead of water.
You should also add a pickled cucumber salad as a side with any paprika dish.

When I make this dish(one of my favourites)I dice the onions and don`t serve with green beans.
Traditional accompaniment is sliced cucumber in vinegar and black pepper.
