Sadly, the darned economy killed the Withlacoochee Bluegrass Festival's March 2009 gathering -- after more than 20 years! Here's hoping it's not gone for good.

Thanks phlarrdboi! You ought to go if you can -- it is a GREAT way to get away and recharge, and feel really good. There really are a lot of great people (and music) there. The next festival is end of October-beginning of November.
This remains one of the best festivals around and probably is the best in Fl. I've not been able to go lately and I sure miss it. Maybe in Oct. if I'm able, a lot of good pickers there and Great People. "Bluegrass Rules". Good job on the Video. "General Lee"
one of my goals for my life is to spend a whole summer going from festival to festival smoking/selling weed listing to some good old bluegrass
