So!... the finches DROP the seeds (unlike the tits who spit them out! lol)

I thought they were just messy eaters .. not that my dogs mind - they 'hoover' up what's dropped (they're Greyhounds, and they'll eat anything!)

I started buying chipped sunflower kernels for that reason - 25kg bag on e-bay £37 ... not bad :)

@soniclady89 Yes the Finches drop the seeds a lot and then the ground feeding bird will collect them... And maybe wild animals too ?
