I would have used character names & real names like B&B does and included a few more cast members (sped it up a bit) BUT this is a really, really great editing job and very fine work!! Better than any opening they've had in years

It's been on the air overall for 72 Years. It started as a Radio Show in 1937 on June 20th which was the same day that Toast Of The Town was renamed The Ed Sullivan Show. It debuted on TV in 1952 which makes it next to The Today Show one of the longest running shows in TV History.

Hey Guy, thast was awesome. Am a GL fan here too. but what caught my eye was the effects and sfotware you used. What did you use by the way? I'm getting started in an amateur way, only using Windows Movie Maker. Watch some of mine, and tell me what you think.

What I used is called Vegas Video 4.0  It's relatively easy to use but isn't a professional type of editing software.

Wow, this is fantastic! I really like that it's simple but has a lot of visual elements incorporated. I like the backdrop pictures and how you highlight each actor with their own pic. And the only way I could see to improve this is using moving images of the actors, perhaps from commercial bumpers for their solo pics. But GREAT format!

this is the best fan opening I've seen yet! And yes, it is better than the professional one GL uses!! (Although it is outdated already with Crystal Hunt in it), but yea for Holly and of course BERT BAUER!!!

That lady at the end was "Bert Bauer", Ed's mother. She was the good soul of the soap and an original cast member. She died in the 80ties, but we well never forget her. Well done to honour her shortly in the custom made opening!
