@GERMANLOVER7000 The Oasis is the biggest ship, not the Freedom. Oasis is 220,000 Gross tonnes and the Queen is only 150,000s.

I did, when i was on Rhapsody Of The Seas our waiter, NuNo, told us after this trip he is sent over to finland to serve on Freedom Of The Seas.

It was a long time ago, whatever year this ship came out.

Nah queen mary 2 doesnt have much to do on it if been to over 20 cruise ships so far and i've been on the queen mary 2 3 times and the best ship i went on so far was the freedom of the seas

i went on the freedom last year. it's the biggest cruise ship in the world, along with it's sister ship the lberty. it was huge. like 4300 guests. and it does go pretty fast for a boat it's size. i miss it so much. my trip on the voyager this year didn't compare, with the exception that it was in europe.

The Genesis class will be twice larger than Freedom class. Its also built in Turku, Finland and own by same company, Royal Caribbean International.

dude the titanic is nothing compared to modern cruise ships. the titanic would actually be considered one the the smallest cruise ships if it were in existence today. Freedom of the Seas is over 160,000 gross tons. titanic was 46,000

The Titanic does make for a great reference point because most of us understand it to have been the largest passenger vessel for it's time. This makes it 3 1/2 times as big and I believe RC is coming out with a ship that is FIVE times as big but I don't know the name of it.

Yes, in 2009, RCCL will launch the Genesis of the Seas. At 220,000 gross tons and a capacity of 8,000+ people in total, it will make the Titanic look like one of its lifeboats. Genesis also has a sister ship scheduled to debut in 2011.

Yea i saw the new RCCL ship on line. its unbelievable, the Titanic next to the Oasis of the seas would make Titanic look like a lifeboat, the QM2 next to the Oasis would be like a yatch next to a city. Oasis is definitly the biggest.

You couldent of seen freedom four days ago. It cruises in the Caribbean not Europe. In 2008 independance will cruise in Europe but not Freedom of the seas and Liberty of the seas, They sail in the caribbean.

i saw this ship four days ago, when i was in barcelona...i were on the ship aida, which is very cool (Germnan ship)...but when you see the royal caribbean, its hard to tell you the greatness in words...very amazing...you shoul imagine...there are 19decks and about 4000 passengers...its like a small town!
