  • I have the same bike with the same pipes, sounds just as awesome as yours but with Street slammer bars. Take those mini apes off of it already !

  • @johnmon

I did over 2 years ago. I put 18" apes and chage the pipe again to V&H Staggered Short Shots. Sounds good, greast rumble sound.

  • i have the same pipes on my dyna

check my channel for a video with sound

  • Great sound and those pipes look fab against the bob. what I find with my Big shots is that once they warm up a bit they go a bit deeper in sound. I had to put quiet baffles in mine as it was scaring people in the street... ill have to post some exhaust notes soon

  • i like it.

  • with or with out baffles?

  • got mine today i black denim.

  • great look. The best color is peweter denim though, but love the custom dark.

    Thanks for the comment.

    Jim

  • great bike, dude :)

  • Thanks man. I check out your video and That's

kick ass. Like your Street Bob.

  • gr8 ride, be safe and ride smart :)

  • Thanks and always.

  • oh, btw i allmost forget to ask... What do you think about streetbob if you compare it to other bikes (harleys) ? Somehow I think this aint your first bike :)

  • your right this is not my first bike, I had a honda 750 first. But as far as how I compare the StreetBob with the other Harleys I like the classic look compared to the others. The other Harleys were already chromed out had the paint jobs, I wanted something I could make my own not factory, my StreetBob is me. Don't get me wrong I would love to own Softail or a Geiser Glide(Harlrey Ultra Classic)but this one caught my eye at the dealership, It is the Classic look that sold me.

  • That really sounds and looks good!!!

  • thanks

  • nice bike man, would like to see a video with the 16" apes.

  • I'll work on getting one this weekend of my Harley with 16" apes and post the video.

  • she's a bobber, push them handle bars ahead a little,,lol,, just kidding man, sweet bike!!!

  • I've changed the way it looks it has 16" apes and are moved up. thanks for the comment.

  • do you have the choak out in this video it seems to be running really high compaired to my sporty?

  • no choke electronic fuel injected. the idle changes when the motor is warmed up.

  • Hey everyone, i have the Rinehart 2-1 exhaust on my 07 fxd love them but the end cap replace twice keeps turning purple-ish.

  • i dont have the pipes yet, they are being sent to me sometime,,they are being made with the o2 sensors holes in them,, the harley shop told me to put them on and see how it runs..if it runs bad then i will need the vance fuel pack.....you thoughts???

  • you'll need to put the fuel pack on and screaming eagle air cleaner when you change to custom pipes, your comuter is set for factory stock. if you look on ebay you may find the air cleaner cheaper that the dealer.

the reason for doing all this is because it is cheap to do it right than to replace pistons. The Harley dealer should not have told you to put the pipes on and see how it run. it will run fine at first but there are a number of things that can happen.

let me know how it is going.

  • Welcome to the brotherhood of owning a Harley.

    Jim

Post a video if you can of your Bike. Would like to see.

  • i heard something about harley dealership being able to remap with their program not 100% sure but it worth askin

  • I did when I was working on my wife's

07 sportster and changed the pipes. the dealership told me if they were slipons.

That's what H.D. stands for Hundred of Dollars.

    LOL

  • how did you run those with the o2 sensors,,,did you need you change the computer in any way????i have martin brothers pipes comming for mine and not sure if i need a fuel pack or not

  • yes you need to change your ECM program. The o2 sensors went on to the V&H big radius in the same location. does the martin brother come with o2 sensor bungs? . If not check, I would look into using the power commander they make something to by pass that. If the pipes have the o2s then vance and hines fuel pack is easy to program. I have the harley race tuner and in real difficult to program.

ask the harley dealership how easy it is to install the new version. let me know.

  • hey man i finally got my street bob!! i get to pick it up between today and saturday!! i cant wait. im gonna put the vance and hines black short shots on it

  • post some pictures, I would like to see it

  • Nice one, did it cost an ass load?

  • not really I found them on ebay for cheap they were brand new. I check with the dealers around here and over $600.00. I picked them up for $200.00 less.

  • Good deal.

  • i Have a street bob 2008 I muck this pipes?

  • What pipes R those? thats what I would like for my 07 Super Glide! Nice lookin/sound'n Pipes!! SweeeeT!

  • They are the Vance & Hines Big Radius.

Now you can get them powder coated black.

I got mine from ebay for a lot less than dealers. that's where I would check if looking.

  • Is that with or without baffles?

  • with the baffles in.

  • with baffle in, neighbors still hear me rolling in and don't like it.

  • great sound, great look, great bike :)

  • cool sound....
