@killercooki32 - no, i made a pair and sharpies are alcohol based so water won't make them run. only alcohol, so you'll be okay. plus there's also a type of sharpies just for shoes.

Its harder to get a thinner line with acrylic but then sometimes looks cooler because the thickness of the lines change..
