  • Not a bad version but Dusty Springfields version is the best to listen to.

  • Man she's got a STRONG voice!!

  • SOUND IS GREAT. CAN YOU TELL ME THE BLOND GIRL NAME?

  • @buddyeagle The singer's name is Angie.

  • yea-sexy-what a great song-a little flat-"no monitors?"-common drummer -hit it!

    where the passion!lol-love it live!

  • When are you coming to bridlington you sound fantastic.all the best janet & john.

  • I think you did great! I watched it three times. The band was real good, too. You have talent, that's for sure!

  • Very good cover. She has a nice, full rich voice.

  • Nice.. very good.. Keep up the good work.. :)

  • If you do have any desire to look upon bovine excrament, you will find it (believe it or not) in a field, usually where bulls reside. Reading it or listening to it could be an interesting past time, although a little smelly!

  • excrEment ! tut tut. What instrument do you play?

  • I think it's always a shame when someone's vocabulary is so stunted that they have to resort to swearing, but you are of course allowed your opinion.

  • Well, actually, you will have heard me sing & play on a great number of top 40 records, from the mid 80's, up until about 4 years ago. (And that includes quite a few no.1's as well) Unfortunately, I was signed as a session musician and I had to sign a non-disclosure contract, so I can't disclose which records they were. But... be assured, you will have heard me!

  • As far as criticism goes, well.. even Simon Cowell had to start somewhere!

  • Well timelord, perfection must be a great place to view us mere mortals from, we are not asking for your money to listen to this nor are we forcing you to listen, we just enjoy playing whether it be good or bad in your elevated opinion. So please give constructive criticism by all means but reserve the crass remarks for those things posted on here that deserve it,

  • Anyway, couldn't the guitar-synth player find the `strings' button for the instrumental break?

Or, did he mean it sound as bad as that to prove he was playing `Live'?

Maybe he'd rubbed the chalk marks off the guitar neck !

  • No backing track ? The brass section must be sat in the audience then !

  • Nowt much gets past you - eh mate?

Apart, that is, from the guy standing at the back playing the guitar synthesizer.

    Good isn't he?

  • Oooohh yeah!! Never `erd a one a them before mister ! Fancy me missing that !

If he was stood any further back, you could have left him at home. (or stuck him behind the curtain anyway) Please accept my synthesized apologies.

  • Given the choice between him and Angie I wouldn't be looking at him either :>) LOL

    Thanks for commenting.

And a great job also from the boys of the band; really wonderful all together.

I'd like if we could have a place like this one in Italy, but there must be a reason if You are english and we are italian.

Greetings from a "beating english heart" in an italian body.

    Ciao!!!

  • Angie,"absolutely brilliant" you rock my socks off!!!!

  • You've really captured the innocent excitement of this wonderful song. I was ready to dismiss a cover of this classic, but am glad I listened through. A couple of rough spots but otherwise a very honorable tribute. The players really know their intricate parts well and the vocal is very strong. Great job. Dusty would be proud.

  • keep it alive! great job!

  • fucking awesome

  • I first heard this classic by Nicolette Larsen and have loved it ever since :-D This is another great rendition, too!
