  • Safety was always my number one concern when I worked at Universal Hollywood on Jurassic Park. Whenever I heard or saw something wrong with one of the boats or figures it was always reported. Sometimes the problem was fixed though mainly the only cared about how many dispatches were place through the day.

  • Thats my cousins boyfriends mom, she was the victim.

  • why didn't the operators stop the ride when they heard a weird noise

  • @calicofan998 exactly. why didn't the people yell when the axel broke? it would've been able to hear or see.

  • @webkinzinspace I know you replied to calicofan98 but i will try to answer your question. When the axel broke the train was inside a tunnel.

  • lol i did not know that the state of California has a video cam......it should start vloging

  • Most of the people who have died at Disneyland is because its thier own fault.

  • the chances of a accident happening of this size is unlikely to happen alot.it was just a matter of lack of refurbishment thats all. . it couldve happend in any park an no disney doesnt have more accidents it just seems that way because theres more disney parks and theyre bigger so the number of accidents seems higher. disney is one of the safest placest in the theme park world.

  • scary i got on train 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats why i want to the one in florida...but i live in California and my dad says its faster to disney land ...scary cause i always sit in the very back and the front XD

  • and that's why i never sit in the very front or very back of any ride :D

  • 1:47 Holy crud! I can't imagine the horror being on that when it happened!

  • I just got on this ride yesterday wow I just came on YouTube to see some more clips of this ride and found this how scary :/

  • i gotta say, here in florida we have the best and safest theme parks in the world! but thats why i dont go to california because they dont

  • that is soooo sad i cant believe that happened even though it was 8yrs ago i am still afraid that that might happen again i hope it never happens again i cant imagine what the poor family has been going through

  • This is sadddd

  • i did see no blood so, no one died

  • @1XXBiankaKelleyXX1 You think the uploader is gonna show blood you idiot?

  • @1XXBiankaKelleyXX1 Ever heard of internal bleeding?

  • Young souls being sacrificied for a 33rd degree freemason...sounds like a ritual done at Bohemian Grove.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo I am going to let this comment stay. It shows what some members of youtube are like.

  • @dldhistory55 you'd be doing me a favor, so thanks.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo hahahahahahahahahaaha that's the funniest thing I've heard all day

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo Seriously...You watch far too many movies if you think Freemasonry has anything to do with human sacrifice.Even if it DID, it wouldn't be at the 33rd degree. Pick up a book, hon.

  • @TheCatcakes1015 yeah? what movies have I been watching? I'd really like to know because so far I haven't found any. You won't find anything on Bohemian Grove on the History Channel, that's for damn sure.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo whos Bohemian Grove.

  • @crazydudejr81 Its a place where the world's rich and powerful men meet for two weeks to do whatever it is they want. no one gets in without an invitation. and no one talks about it in public. Walt Disney was a member. They do a mock sacrifice of a baby along with other strange things. Bohemian Grove is located in Sonoma, California; hidden in a giant red wood forest. There's a lot more to it. I suggest you do some of your own research.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo thanks this shit is creepy af

  • @crazydudejr81 Yea bro, like some shit outta Blade, the movie.

  • @gardengrowsevenonefo lol now i really believe they do some illuminati shit

  • why at the matter horn before you stop theres a rail that goes straight why does the cart move up and down? every video that i watch people record before getting to the station and the cars move up and down or shake ?

  • @nickypokemonlover IM NOT FUCKING 8!

  • @nickypokemonlover IDIOT STOP LIEING!

  • i find it wierd that disney has more deaths than any other theme park

  • @dughmo Actually statistically it has the lowest of any amusement park, any freeway and any city..remember millions of people per year visit Disney parks

  • @dughmo One last comment from me ...using Disneyland as an example 2 people have died at no fault of their own in over 50 years and over 500 million people through the front gates..i will leave it to you to caculate the percentage..

  • @dldhistory55 oh ok its just looks like it i mean the last death i heard from six flags in valencia was in 2001 last i heard from disney was 2010 or 2009

  • @dldhistory55 i thought it was 3 people who died at no fault of their own. 1. is the guy on big thunder. 2. Debbi Stone on America Sings and 3. a guy that got hit in the head from the tie down spike on the Colombia snaping off and flying through the air.

  • @zac613 Deborah Gail Stone, a cast member was standing too close to the stationary wall in America sings attraction and was crushed. So the unanswered question is did she know not to stand that close..So in a sense you may be right...Full report on her death is available on my site..

  • @dldhistory55 i know. i've been to ur site... which is awesome. and i know an ex cast member who use to work on America Sings and was at the park when she heard Debbi was dead.

  • @dldhistory55 why didn't the operators stop the ride when they heard a noise instead of just ignoring it and letting this happen

  • @calicofan998 @calicofan998 : there were many reasons but one that stands out is that they were under orders to run the trains unless there was a major problem..the castmembers were also under pressure of hourly counts of number of people . if they took a train "offline" the counts would drop. The managemnt that was running the park at that time are gone. hopefully we will never see those policies at Disneyland again. Click on the link in the descrption for more detail.

  • I went on that ride September 2, at 8pm, right before I left the park. When I saw the news the next morning, I nearly crapped my pants.

  • the reason why this happened was the lack of maitence of #2. if they checked the wheels and did whatever, this would have not happened

  • the narrator sounds like jeff bridges.

  • What an awful way to go:( RIP Marcelo Torres

  • That man's voice is so monotone and boring. Marcelo Torres, RIP. Thank god they retired that train after this horrific accident.

  • lol all the shit happens at disney land thats why im going to disney world

  • So what happened and what was the white stuff on the train?

  • @minitrucksoncp The cars are made of white plastic..then painted brown..what you are seeing is where the paint is missing..

  • i was getting on the ride when this happened and they forced me and everyone else to leave the ride. :/

  • I was at the park when this happened. We were heading to this ride and when we got there, the whole area was completely closed! We asked a member and he told us he didn't know. o_O But some random stranger knew exactly what happened. Turns out, the person who was killed, was his best friend.

  • I was there with my friend Noah when someone died and they closed half of the park

  • imagin being in the second seat back and watching that happin

  • i feel like the next death is at the matterhorn to be like this

  • i gust said that

  • They should check the rides then this wouldnt happen

  • That must of been terrifying hearing the train coming and waiting for the impact when your the cart that's stuck in the dark......

  • if they heard a nozie comeing form the train shouldnt they try to fix it or see whats wrong with it

  • @hidanlmmort

didhistroy looks like he isnt going to awser my qustions anymore .So when i go on this ride im allways scard to go in the front seat

  • when i rode this, one of the trains had to be sent back. i was scared as hell cuz i had watched this vid before we went.

  • why doesnt disneyland open 24 hours a day

  • @Strongvirus15 This is ironic to ask this on this video...The reason is because they need the nighttime hours for checking attractions and maintenance...If maintenance time is reduced we end up with what you see in this video...

  • @Strongvirus15 February 29 the park will be open for 24 hours

  • if they heard something form the train souldnt they try to fix it

  • im not impatient i gust dont want an awser and come back the next year to get it

  • @Strongvirus15 Sorry but I am not on youtube 24 hours a day...I work and have a life...Tell you what..Go to my website (in my profile) create an account and enter your question on the contact us page and I guarantee I will respond to you within 24 hours...if I don't I will give you a free account on my website...

  • bummer

  • @Strongvirus15 impatient much

  • can you aswer my qustions a littel faster

so i dont have to wait the next day to get an answer

  • But my main qustion is that what is the destance from the possum and the coyotes

  • but its ok if you cant make it more clear

  • @Strongvirus15 the load bearing wheels uinder each car follow the track..although the "car" may not turn at the same time..to get an idea of what the wheels underneath look like..look at any regular rollercoaster they are the same

  • not realy becuase im talking about do the wheels move under the cart that is carring people move with the track .

  • i love that ride and even if i died a horrible death on it i would be so happy to just be there in my last moments of life

  • Can you answer me please on what i wrote below ?

  • can some on answer my question below please

  • Do the wheels move along with the track, like if some one in the back seat had no turn and some one - In the same cart in the front had a turn will the wheel in the front turn or stay still as it turns.Becuase it doesnt look like it when the hole train moves with the track when i watch big thunder mountain videos.

  • @Strongvirus15 Sorry for the delay..it is kind of complicated..the wheels you see.. yellow ones are rolling on the track but do not carry any load..there are wheels underneath that are standard roller coster wheels that carry the load..does this make sense?

  • i dont get why they took out the second wheels of the train becuase now theres only one on each side can some one tell me why?

  • @Strongvirus15 Yes ..It makes it easier for them to inspect the front axle...

  • I AGREE WITH THAT SPONGEBOB PERSON! I saw it during that pic and I was scared shitlesss!!!

  • I remember this was all over the news that day. The next time later that year when I went to Disneyland I refused to get on the ride because I thought the same would happen to me >.<

  • I was in high school when this happened and a senior girl that went to my school was working at Disneyland at this same ride the day that accident happened. She saw the crash right after it happened and said she'll never be able to get Macelo's face out of her mind.....he died with a screaming expression, mouth and eyes wide open

  • i know its generally the persons fault for not being vigilant or underlying health conditions but man these scare the shit out of me these "incidents"

  • I first watched this when I was about to go to Disneyland Paris and thundermountain is my favourite ride. Because of this video I was scared that I was gonna die when I went in the first tunnel because me and my friend were at the front

  • @rubyredmedia Yesterday there was an accident in this ride in Paris, some of the fake rocks that are in fact made out of wood, fell on the train and people were injured.

  • @spongebob2730 What DOo U MEan?

  • The incidents on Big Thunder Mountain scared the shit out of me when I was younger. For like 4 years I was way too scared to get on this ride

  • i think i rode train 2 at some point yesterday lol, my point, disneyland is safe, yes accedents happen, but they dont happen all the time, besides most deaths at amusement parks are self inflicted, ie moveing betweet the cars on the people movers, trying to enter the park on the monorail track, staying on tom soyers island after closeing time and attempting to swim the rivers of america, or my faves and the dumbest of the dumb, the idiots that undo safty restraints on rides, point being

  • @pvtread DONT BE A DUMB ASS AND UL LIVE, ALSO DONT TRY TO RETREVE ITEMS FROM RESTRICTED AREAS OF PARKS, IE THE MORON WHO LOST HIS HEAD TRYING TO RETRIEVE A HAT, SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN

  • did they replace the local motive?

  • what happend to dldhistory? now it's dldhistory55

  • @StrangerUnidentified Youtube deleted the account...they will not tell me why..so i created this new account...

  • its sad that the "happiest place on earth" can cause some people so much grief...

  • @transfandude Its slogan should be "The happiest place on earth. In order to keep it that way, we need some donations."
