This is very frustrating...this should be the number 1 issue of the Occupy movement. This is it folks,any issue you care about is somehow connected to this because the foundation of our capitalist system, the creation of our money, was privatized to for-profit companies. What I don't understand is you see people like Jack Layton acknowledging this in the video but when he was leader of NDP he never mentioned this once when he could have campaigned on this issue alone. Ok, I thought it was great but I have an issue with one of the central themes. You're advocating that we borrow from the bank of canada as a tool to remove our debt and restore sovereignty, but at the end of the movie you're saying that voting is useless? it's as if you're implying that in order to physically make that change we need to convince our existing politicians to do it, but you portray them as corrupted beyond repair. Momey has to be given out to use without the debt. Then it can be used in the economy and not increased as assets by our own bank straining the system. Khanacadamy (youtube account) has a very good explaination on how the current system works, although he is under the impression that governments are in control of it. Films are under the common title banking.

Your system doesn't work if the government pays the bills. Mainly cause the treasuries can't be used later to reduce the money in the country to reduce money supply to lower inflation. Good idea in general though, Every country must do it at the same time though or wars will ensue.

Great job on the film! It's nice to see it from a Canadian perspective, though it is the same old story. I was impressed with all the interviews he got and the questions asked. And of course no one could make sense of something nonsensical. Other than straight out admitting "we want to keep you enslaved and take your money", even if they actually know it.
