  • oh hey i think you use tracing paper! :) and is that alcohol you are using to blend the colors? :) and how do you spill ink from the markers? do you really need to open them? :) thanks great works by the way! such talent, man! :D God bless you!

  • @ziyidas That's right: tracing paper. And the ink is Copic refill-ink. You can buy it in bottles. I always make sure to have ICE BLUE (B12) and MILKY WHITE (E51) in stock ;-)

    Thanks for your comments!

  • @doctorCOPIC oh thank you!!! the problem is i dont know if there is that brand available in our country, the Philippines... but you see...what i have is KURE color.. ....... and could you please give me tips on how the markers wont leave any lines when coloring .. Because that is what i dont like with the markers.. and since im an architecture student... we always use tracing paper.. and lines always appear from my strokes.... instead of a solid color .. :) thanks . :D

  • @ziyidas Just checked: KURECOLOR does have refill ink bottles indeed! Yes, the lines... I think I simply work with the lines. Solid colors are only reached on specific marker paper, but that will not allow you to use the refill ink. I do not mind the lines, I add some pencil and it will look lively. I prefer gradients, to solid colors.

  • @doctorCOPIC oh thanks! :) are you an architect? :D i hope i could work well with the markers LOL :) thank you ... hey could i use alcohol instead of xylene.. isnt it xylene the one you are using as a solvent?

  • @ziyidas Used to be an architect. Now Artist. I do not use a solvent at all. The refill ink is the only fluid I use! Good Luck!

  • @doctorCOPIC oh soo what is the one you use with the cotton thing? .. i thought it has alcohol in it.,...

  • @ziyidas The cotton pad just distributes the drops of refill ink. Try it!

  • @ziyidas You have to do it immediately though, before the ink dries.

  • Wow, amazing. Waiting for more! :)

  • What colours are the various inks that you used for this?

Amazing art work by the way !!:D

  • you just spill ink on the paper? i dont get how you did that..

  • @gantonski It only works on sketching paper, a thin vellum, (not sure about the English words) and you do not need that much, actually!

  • i love these. awesome.
