If you're verses in Scripture you know that certain things are literal and others are figurative. The Holy Bible is replete with all sorts of language expression: prose, poems, parables, symbolism, metaphors, etc. One has to be wise and know how to discern what is read. I suggest you don't continue in your way of thinking and study Scripture with the aid of God's Holy Spirit.

@Nashhinton You've got to see it Biblically... This should have been able to be determined by those contemporary to the time, the symbols. Why? Because it was the Revelation of Jesus Christ, not the mystery of Jesus Christ, right? It even references Daniel, and claims to be what Daniel was not allowed to talk about:

@Nashhinton with one correction: the king of the Beast during John's time was Rome, and Babylon was Jerusalem, also called "The Great City". That's why the Great City had "Fallen" - it fell from a high state, and Jerusalem constantly martyred the prophets sent to her, (also called Sodom and Egypt, where Jesus was crucified) and so the devil-worshipers will continue to kill God's people.

One cannot look from a sea port all the way towards Jerusalem. One can however do that with Rome. Also, the symbolism correctly corresponds to the Catholic church. For example, Revelation 17 says that her influence is global, by saying that she sits on many peoples (waters). Also, the list of items of trade only applies to Rome.

He says of Tyre, in Ezekiel 27:25 onward, especially 29 and 30, what you had mentioned. Tyre was situated offshore, but if we're to take Babylon as literally by the sea, then Babylon also has to be a world trade center. Since USA is #1 in trade and Japan is #2 from what I understand, Babylon would be closer to Japan than Rome!

Do you believe tribulation is 7 years or 3 1/2 years? I believe the latter makes more sense because the the scripture makes a distinction between tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation. That's why everyone left behind at the 7th trumpet is doomed. Just like the days of Noah and Lot.

The scripture doesnt say the entire church will reign with Christ 1000 years. Rev 20:14 says the ones who will reign are those who were "beheaded for the witness of Jesus and the Word of God, as well as the ones who do not take the mark of the beast and are killed." These are the saints.
Rev 20: 4 & 5 - talks about the first resurrection and how this resurrection takes place after the mark of the beast and at the time the devil is chained for 1000 years. 1 Thes 4:16 & 17 says the dead in Christ rise before the living are caught up to meet the Lord. The second resurrection doesnt happen till after the 1000 years Rev 20:13.
Nobody can expect the rapture if you do not have full understanding of the Word of Grace This is the part that says: The woman will be saved through the light .. and the church / Christian will be saved with the full understanding of the Word.

The voices in heaven are simply saints who have previously died - not the church.The marriage (rapture) occurs at the second coming of Christ who is on his way to Armageddon. The church doesn't actually go to the third heaven at the rapture. Great post. These verses really does make sense in its original order... You didn't use verses to try to fit your theory but you use verses to try to explain exactly what Jesus said...“Immediately after the tribulation of those days..."

Actually. any reference to a "rapture" is weak, biblically speaking. The second coming and so-called rapture is a single event. If you think GOD is going to protect you from the lions, in the Roman arenas, you would be wrong. If you think GOD is going to protect you from the coming test of faith...you would be wrong.
I agree. I am not a proponent of the word "rapture" whatsoever. I believe it has become a trigger word that has many brainwashed into believing a pre-trib escape. Biblically it's more suited as being labeled a gathering. That's what Paul called it.

The timetable consists of 7 years of tribulation, or testing of the church, then 1 year of wrath on earth and marriage supper in heaven, for a total of 8 years.
Daniels 70th week (7 days) are the 7 years of tribulation.
The Great (marriage) and Terrible (wrath) Day of the Lord is the 8th year, Isa 63:4, Isa 34:8
Rapture occurs at the beginning of the Day of the Lord, after the tribulation, Matt 24:15-31.
The 2nd coming is at the end of the Day of the Lord.

1- Study ancient Jewish wedding where the groom takes the bride away for 7 days then comes to publicly declare their marriage- you need to study this.
2- Feasts of the Jews - Jesus fulfilled some of them the next one is Feast of Trumpets Rosh Hashana where 2 witness view the new moon

Actually. any reference to a "rapture" is weak, biblically speaking. The second coming and so-called rapture is a single event. If you think GOD is going to protect you from the lions, in the Roman arenas, you would be wrong. If you think GOD is going to protect you from the coming test of faith...you would be wrong.

I agree. I am not a proponent of the word "rapture" whatsoever. I believe it has become a trigger word that has many brainwashed into believing a pre-trib escape. Biblically it's more suited as being labeled a gathering. That's what Paul called it.

@Eraserlips U are the one that's going to be wrong. U not reading or understanding prophecy. Revelation 3:10 from, not through. God has not appointed the church to wrath. I know u not going to see it, but it's ok, u will see it later. God bless you through his wrath.

The timetable consists of 7 years of tribulation, or testing of the church, then 1 year of wrath on earth and marriage supper in heaven, for a total of 8 years.
Daniels 70th week (7 days) are the 7 years of tribulation.
The Great (marriage) and Terrible (wrath) Day of the Lord is the 8th year, Isa 63:4, Isa 34:8
Rapture occurs at the beginning of the Day of the Lord, after the tribulation, Matt 24:15-31.
The 2nd coming is at the end of the Day of the Lord.
I can provide scriptural proof.
