Even in this video where Susan Boyle's voice has been distorted to the point that it sounds nothing like the quality of her CD, I prefer her than Madonna. I always liked Madonna and I think her version of this song is really beautiful but Susan Boyle's version is superior in every way and what it's best, it that you know that is her real voice. That it wasn't technically enhanced.

I really like both versions. This must have been around the time when Madonna learned how to sing properly whe she did Evita. No question that Susan has a beautiful voice but I also think Madonna is an underated singer and has sung some really lovely ballads, although she is probably best known for her dance hits.

I think what's interesting about 'You'll See' is that it highlights what an incredible songwriter Madonna actually is. This is a simple, no-frills ballad which MANY artists have covered. (Shirley Bassey sung in live a lot in the late 90's.) As MusicalDudeMayham comments, Madonna is singing about someone who has been screwed over in love; Miss Boyle is singing about overcoming bullies and advertisity. It works equally well both. Brilliant song and lets get Maddy the credit she deserves!
