put all violent murderers to death, not only blacks. racism is bullshit. if you are guilty, you have no place in society.if someone kills intentionally, they should have no right to live anymore. same with child molestors, 1st offense should be death. i think every case should be reviewed with dna.
@whitemanwaydownsouth But what about cases where DNA was planted? What about cases where they surely show racial bias? Don't you believe that if someone were sentenced to death, that they should receive a fair trial at life? Based upon the given facts within this video, evidence was withheld from from the court that proved he was innocent-- this deemed that he was not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt nor any doubt.
North Carolina wants to stop this from repeating, and I say good for them.
@KyoshiSukina those cases are talked about but rarely have any substance to support the claims. so i say this. what about the cases where guilt is obvious, admitted or witness testimony supports guilt? recently a young lady named eve carson was murdered in north carolina by two savages. they did it, there is no doubt. they should be put to death. i feel the same about the white woman who killed her stepdaughter&cut up her body. she has no place in society.race is irrelevant
@whitemanwaydownsouth I never said in my comment that if it was apparent beyond a reasonable doubt but the victim was white and the defendant was black, they would be excused from the death penalty. I said that for those cases where it was apparent that there were overt and graphic racial bias, they deserve to have a fair trial at life.
DNA alone cannot prove it, you need more to satisfy a jury- especially a motive, in order to acknowledge your first comment.
@whitemanwaydownsouth No, it can establish a certain amount of guilt; however, it needs to have more substance to support it, otherwise the case will be weak.
Example: In the Tate-LaBianca Murders, although they had physical evidence that two of the convicted murderers out of the, I believe, five, where they found their fingerprints inside the homes of the Tate house, it wasn't enough to sentence them to death, because they had a weak case.
Still today the disproportion in execution rates based on the race of victims suggests our justice system places greater value on white lives, even after sentencing.

I believe that the signing of this act has great historic value and importance . recently as a part of a performance piece I wanted to research the tune before my band played it.
Jazz Legend Billie Holliday wrote and performed a song in the early 1900s called Strange Fruit. She said that singing it made her fearful of retaliation because its lyric condemned American racism, particularly the lynching of African Americans that had occurred chiefly in the South.
Thank YOU Jesus for watching over me!!
Gov Bev Perdue still haven't taken any action!!

really, there was enough to put them in prison and keep them in prison.
just because someone didnt recieve the death penalty , doesnt mean they didnt deserve it.

May the cases filed today in Stanly, Randolph, Martin, Forsyth and Davie counties be tested with justice and truth. A well put together video.

The NC Racial Justice Act passed the NC Senate 25-18. Now the bill goes to NC Gov. Bev Perdue for her signature!
