@expertvillage Thanks for the patience you took for making clutch adjusting video. Breath deeply and hold it for 10 seconds and exhale slowly for 20 seconds. To be precise that is what I call struggling to breath as if somebody wrapped your nose with a cloth. This behaviour happens when somebody has a breathing sound as a habit even if he was not there in a marathon race in his life. The air we breath and the words that we talk comes from the same throat so both should flow freely at a time.
Sounds like your a jealous ASSHOLE...I totally agree with mredgiem! If you think you can do it better, then post away!! Otherwise, why don't you go to McDonalds..sounds like you could use a Happy Meal
Thanks for the info. Video's like yours help me out. I have rode bikes since the 70s and what's behind the covers has always been a mystery to me. I was always spending a fortune for what were seemingly simple repairs. Since I started riding Harley's 3 years ago I wanted to learn how to do some of the minor maintenance myself. I have learned a lot thanks to guys like you.
Jerry, Thanks big time for this informative vid, this vid makes the info in the service manual more logical, it's always helpful when you can "look over a shoulder" and see it done.
HELP!!!!!! I have a 74 Ironhead at the end of the clutch draw it pops i adjusted the cable no more pop. but now the clutch will not fully engage . i.e. draw the clutch in foot switch to gear she gos could the release ramp be bad? or do the clutch springs need adjusted? thanks Road Hog
I had this problem before, when my cable went unadjusted and I pull the lever till the handle bar and I still can hear the grinding sound, what did I do is I let it cool down until you can touch the engine and begin tighting 2 nut at the adjuster ring which is located at the side of the engine, happened to my dirt bike. sympton of this is your lever aren't tight and move freely, you hear the grinding sound even you pull till the handle bar
i got a crf250 and the clutch is really tough to pull in, i tried to adjust it yself, buy i still dont know wuts wrong with, do u think you might know>?

He should mention that this procedure is best done when the engine is cold for best results. Otherwise, good video Jerry... You need some cardio bro.

@Silenxer I like watching your mother going down on me. Especially after knocking a few of her teeth out for lube. Only way she can handle it.
