Also, the lyrics are the same, it just doesn't seem like it because of SILY's title.

One of the other main components to Avalanches song "Since I Left You." I think this original song actually says "Since I Met You.."

@MIKECNW I too have been trying to find information about this band, but there really isn't much out there about them. The band members are Jeanne Salo, Gene Salo, Gene Bussotti, and Ronald Trale. They were featured in Billboard magazine June 1, 1968 and this is their only album. They're American too, but I don't really know anything else besides that.
