  • Simon is hard but fair. He's not cruel, he just has the guts to say someone is no good instead of letting them go on national tv and make a fool of themselves later.

  • I think Simon is nicer than he appears to be on the show...he was pretty gracious to answer all those questions. Besides, If you're a contestant who KNOWS you HAVE talent and your put down in that way, I think you'll try even harder to succeed next time. There are way TOO MANY people singing/acting in the business who have never been told the truth...they have NO TALENT! Hopefully Simon is fixing that in his own small way...
