this is really stupid shit...this is sport karate...traditional karate is karate......this should been called different...not Karate-do..I am training real traditional fudokan karate-do...I am rarely going to the competitions..and when I go, i am not doing karate like a sport.....just putting your gloves on, this is not karate....karate means empty hand ....and karate can not been practised with our real makiwara and bag!!!!! on every training you must kick at makiwara or bag for powerfull kicks

Absolutely awful technique, the guy in red is always open not guarding so blue could of easily used all those chances, and they aren't very good at stealing distance. They miss too many opportunities. I'm a JKA black belt and i know these things.

Utilizar esa forma de anular el rango de ataque de tu oponente esta bien en ciertos casos, no todo el tiempo. Es Karate, no es Box.

If you like to bounce , have at it. But I have taught competition karate since the late 60's and we never found it necessary to defeat opponents.
