  • How can this get only 23000 vwies???????

    Ur amazing man!

  • this is most excellent. great job

  • Animation was amazing, but the video was boring as hell

  • Great job. :) But I must also ask the frequent question here: the music?

  • Excellent work, you are truly a master of animation! I would also like to add a kudos to whoever wrote this script, this video is cute and funny.

  • your sister died?

  • This is spectacular!!

I am really getting into 3D animation!

  • This is the work of an excellent 3D animator who will become a master of 2D animation very soon.

  • @animador7 oh, I don't know if I will ever be able to match your skill. Your perspective shifts are flawless, you're like James Baxter.

  • this is top stuff really great work

  • Brilliant work man, the actual script was great as well. I love the look of it, so clean cut and so perfect. I have a question though, which software do you use and, have you taken a class on animation? I'm really beginning to gain interest in the whole field of animation and your videos are spectacular so it would mean the world if I could get some help from you :) Thanks!

    Tommy

  • @IAmATampon Teach yourself dude. Its the only way to be good. No one is going to teach you this. I use 3ds max.

  • nice work

  • I'm a web designer (junior year) I watched this video today in class it was very professionall really liked it .

  • Excellent work. Seriously! Very professional. Hey...I have to ask...you dedicated this video to your sister. At the beginning of the movie there is no picture sitting on the shelf above the washer and dryer but at the end of the movie there is. Is that a picture of your sister? Again, FANTASTIC WORK!

  • thank you for apreciating my work. Yes that is my sister on the shelf in the laundry room in the end. She also appears on various bottles in the bar and on the hippie washer. I put her in every animation after appliance night out.

  • hey i liked all of it

  • I saw this in an art institute presentation today =p great stuff!

  • glad you liked it

  • I'm in Graphic Design (Senior) and we actually watched this clip today! It's hilarious, I can't believe I found it. Ha.

  • 1:11 hahahahahahah

  • heh hehehe O shut up lolz :-)

  • awesome video!!!!

  • pretty cool stuff wish i knew how to do some of this stuff!

  • HAHA!! lawl, that was cute

  • A high school rep for AI showed this to my web design class. Everyone laughed!

  • great job 5/5!

  • fantastic!

    :)

  • Did you make this at the Art Institute of Vancouver? If so this insructor came into out class, and showed us the video and we were all laughing XP

  • No I don't go to the Art Institute of Vancouver. I made this a the Art Institute of Schaumburg.

  • Hi boss, this is without a doubt, fantastic buddy....its creative and a lot more, you are talented mate, all my best for your future....

  • dude this is awesome a girl came to out school from miami and showed it to us and i laughed so hard great job you inspired me to consider animation

  • THIS IS TRULY AMAZING!! The teachers showed us this in school and now I'm showing all of my friends hahahah great job!!!

  • I see a future for you :)

  • some lady from a college came to our class and showed us this. man this was funny!!

  • NICE WORK, MAN! I remember you posted some animation tests for this, a few months ago. It's so nice to see the final product. I love the vomit bit. Really good.

  • VERY GOOD :)

  • 1:06 is pretty damn funny :P

  • wow this is very good. You are very talented.Whew,This could be on tv or the big screen like the bee or cars movie. How did you do the voices and sounds the foley effects??

  • My friends an I recorded the voices using a good microphone and Pro Tools. The sound effects came from the General 6000 series from sound ideas.

  • LOL. Cute!!

  • We saw THIS at the Chicago short comedy fest and loved it as well! Thanks very much!

  • lol. hahaha/ very funny. love it.

  • HA.. love the LG Appliances gone wild. Very nice man. DLE2010R ftw. HA!

  • best animstion on youtube

  • Cool, nice work.

  • really good

  • Brilliant job.

Did you use Renderman for this?

  • ha ha ha! no. I don't have renderman. this is just scanline and mental ray with standard materials. I use a technique called layer rendering.

  • that was awesome! good job

  • this was on aniBOOM!!

  • Very cool and original, really good voices to, did you model with maya ?

  • 3ds max

  • Hey man that is some nice work!

I LMAO, I was thinking how it would get funny with those appliances and then the drying sheets and what came afterwords was hilarious!

Yep this was more impressive than the VFS reel I replied to you on today. 5 stars dude.

  • HAHA. "I don't even think she's past warranty yey"

  • umm

    this was stupid

  • lol, nice.

  • this is really funny. i loved it.

  • Beautiful short :P. I truely enjoyed it. Keep it up :D

  • this is retarded. did you ever think that they need to be plugged in to do all those things?

  • 1. I really didn't feel like animating all those outlets and cords. Think how tangled everything would get.

    2. I view it like the appliances try to make themselves look their best before they go out to party and power cords are like work attire for them. You wonldn't wear your work clothes to a dance club.

    3. You except the fact that appliances can talk, drive cars, and drink booze but you cant except the fact that they don't have electrical cords in a dance club?

  • damn good points. especially number 3. owned. lol

  • lol, nice third reason.

  • dang this is actually pretty cool. ill tell people about this video!!!!

  • that was just amazinngg i wanna get this good im just starting 3d modeling

  • Thanks, Its all really just planing out your shots. What the camera doesn't see doesn't exist. So modeling wise its not that incredible. Its all just smoke and mirrors.

  • this is fantastic man what program did u use? and this is AMAIZING!!!

  • I whipped out my entire arsenal of programs for this. The bulk of the work was done in 3ds max 8. For textures I used Adobe photoshop 7. To composite the 1000 layers that rendered out i used Adobe After effects 6.5 and to mix sound and cut the final edit I used Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. Yes they are old programs but it's too expensive to keep up and buy upgrades.

  • i saw this at the dam short film festival last night. i thought you should have won the best of the ai showcase.

  • Really? thanks. I cant seem to get this one in another film festival :-(

  • hey man.

just saw this movie at the dam short film festival. i thought you should have won.

    good work man.

  • Textures, models, audio, it's all done wonderfully :D

    Very nice job

  • That was totally awesome

  • Haha, that was awesome. I admire you for taking that much time to make this.

  • this is retarted, its not even funny.

  • Ouch man. Did you watch the whole thing?

  • then what is your sense of humor? I have other animation you might find funny. "Wiener Wars" or "Infant Intolerable" You may like one of those.

  • lol great! i loved 2:03 when the washing machines door swung down abit and teh squek i cracked up when i saw that:) 5 star

  • the modeling, animating is really really professional. the idea is awesome.

but i dont like the story that much. i dont like the idea that the washing machines are dirty on the end.

  • i liked it.. twas pretty funny

  • hahaha

    nice job

  • WOW! Totally awesome!! If you're not already working at Pixar, you should be!!

  • Nice concept! 9 Months sure takes a lot of patience, but it's worth the sweat. Keep it up, looking forward for your upcoming 2D pieces! ;)

  • very very nice video, i can tell u worked hard on it. just thought i should mention that while Bill is puking, lol, there is a moment wher Ned's front is just blank white, if possible, you should try and fix it, to make it perfect

  • Tried, I don't know whats going on with that. Its only 2 frames long, You are the first person to catch that though. So I'm not to worried.

  • Wow. Ur right. At 1:52.

  • i cant see it anymore...did u fix it?

  • ohh...now i see it.. yeah.. i would fix it...

  • UUGGHH!!!! I tried in vain to fix that! There are so many other errors in this animation that I couldn't fix.

  • Very nice, especially the render, I can tell it took a long time.

  • Wow nice job dude! Hilarious ending.

I don't think the Animation itself would take 9 months to complete, but Modeling and Setting it up, as well as rendering is something I could understand. Way to go!

    5/5

  • Of Course. everything from Idea, script, storyboard, modeling, textureing, rigging, animating, lighting, rendering, compositing, and sound mixing took me nine months.

  • damn, that animation looks so good and it's a pretty funny watch too!

  • wicked,

    ;)

  • 9 months was worth it. make more plz

  • wow - awesome

  • punch! kidding it was awesome 9 months thats a lot but ill say it was worth it! :)

ps. you kno those are like ur babies think about it!

  • Wow. Very good, looks really professional. What program did you use?

  • I didn't use a single program to make this. I whipped out my entire arsenal of programs such as 3D Studio max, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, and Others.

  • Yeah, I ment what 3D program. What do you use after effects for in this movie?

  • I composite the layers. Each character had its own layers. That is so I can fine tweak the final look of the piece. Appliance Night out had over 1000 layers to set up.

  • Layers? What do you mean?

  • Layer rendering.

  • Interesting idea :)

Nice job too, keep it up!

  • funny how machine threw up clothes XD

very original good luck on getting featured

  • I hope so, Even thought I did not compose the music myself, I do have copyrights permission from the Owner. He loved it.

  • Nice job! I've been meaning to check this out for a while, and now that I have I'm very impressed. You are very good at CGI my friend. Keep up the excellent work.

  • haha!!!

  • Haha, good work dude.

  • OMG!!! you know how hard that is? I've tried to make it happen. I really did, nothing I did ever looked right. I also wanted a spray of water when the car hit the fire hydrant but it didn't work out either.

  • ROFL your amazingg. I hope this gets featured!

  • not bad funny. animations alone are a spectacle not many people use there talent for this sort of thing for so well

  • nice

  • Haha, very entertaining. :]!

  • I rated this 1 star and flagged it as spam.

If you spam me again, I'll just do the same to your videos. Learn a thing or two about PR, you fucking loser. Everyone hates a spammer.

    That aside, great video.

  • ouch dude. Its called advertising.

  • loved it.

  • hahaha, that was great. I cant believe thats actually possible to do that with a computer. that must be insannely hard to do. great job!

    and it was HILARIOUS.

  • that was great =D

  • 9 months! wow! it would have taken me a life time! you have tallent! and your yung at that! i am jelous! i wish u all the luck...but u dont need luck, u got TALLENT!

  • Lol!

Sweet. I like the puns, still a big fan of puns.

9 months huh? definitely worth it!

So you could cut time to like 3 months with help right?

Idk the process, sketches - storyboard - cg - voices?

I usta make flash vids but this is outta my league lol.

    Good job!

  • Hhahaaha awesome !

Best bit was the train in the tunnel ROFL.

And the washing sheet things are like ectasy ! =D

  • That's amazing animation man. But it took you 9 months! This is really good 5/5 I could never do anything this good!

  • ha that was really cute and funny, i enjoyed it thnx for sending me the link :]

  • Well done...very good, it made me laugh as well as my 5 year old son.
