when I heard about EGW claiming that colored races were a result of amalgamation between humans and animals. And I see a lot fo SDA members who were non whites. obviously they do not know she said things like this.

I'm a Catholic myself, but I have to say that it simply sounds as though it means that there is no racism in Heaven "no colour-lines", that in Heaven we're all equal and that "white" is refurring to Christ's purity, not his race. I think you're reading it out of context.

Just a warning though, they would hardly talk about EGW, most of their own members see her as their prophetess, and they will declare that she was a true prophet and her prophecies have come true. What they won't tell you, (and in fairness, most of them don't know) that EGW had many failed prophecies

Bingolly1 you need to keep doing what you are doing and not back down from the Adventist members. DigitalPraise accuses me of being you. That is something they are good at. If some one leaves their organization they are attacked by the members. If someone on youtube disagrees with them they accuse them of being you. I think that it's great as a Catholic that you are so passionate about Jesus and spreading the Word. I'm from Boston and I'm also a born again Christian. There are many Catholics here and having gone to Catholic school, I find that most Catholics are the most lax Christians that you'll ever meet.

You should come here and teach them how to be good Christians and not nominal Christians who are just going through the motions. There are also quite a bit of atheist here and a lot of them will tell you that they were once Catholic and simply never believed or felt compelled my anything to believe. I think that John 3:16 is the test of tests to know of someone is a true Christian but then again no Catholic would deny their belief in Jesus.

I'm a Christian specifically Baptist and so I'm not defending the SDA faith or whatever you want to call but "white as Jesus" could as mean that we will be as pure as Him and clean of sin. Although given the time Ellen lived, it is doubtful that she would be accepting of people who are not white, like myself. Also, given the location of Jerusalem and Egypt, I doubt that was know whether or not white man per se.

@FireFly1499 The problem is that you must interpret what she meant and that is subjective. In the early 1900 several black congregations did split from the SDA because of racial tensions. It was partly due to the amalgamation statement by Ellen White. Again we must try to interpret the thoughts of a dead person. Then couple that with other statements we might never know what she really meant. I do not believe she was racist but some in the organization were.

Christians have thousands of commentators of scriptures. Of which one may disagree. However, to disagree with EGW is to deny God himself.
