notice how the people supporting reform had good points and the ppl at tea parties when asked what they didnt like about reform just said "everything".... FOX News has called this a takeover implying that hospitals and docs will be run by government.... not true... this is a gov insurance option that will compete with the private market... a option... I think tort reform is the way to go.. bcause doctors practice defensive medicine that really leaves us with a bigger bill, but i do like the bill
If you want the Truth, listen to Dr. Michael Savage of "The Savage Nation." His radio program airs 5 days a week for 3 hours a day (in most of the 400 markets).
Dr. Savage regards himself as a Conservative Independent and his mantras are: "Borders, language and culture" and "Liberalism is a mental disorder."
Dr. Michael Savage has a Ph.D, two Master Degrees, a Bachelor Degree, and has written over 25 excellent books.
Yeah, I'm opening a few whore houses out here in L.A. next month. Hey, ya got any sisters looking for work. We've got on the job training and everything.
How is stopping you? - Everyone has the right to excercise or not to excercise their constitutional right. Everyone has the right to bare arms, excluding convicted felons. That doesn't mean that the gov't cant legislate that you need to pass a test. Hell..if you have to pass a test to drive a car, it makes sense that some sort of safety course could someday be a necessary part of gun ownership.
Are you kidding? - This liberal is armed to the teeth. Nevertheless, I would like to know what that reason is.... It seems to me that it's the right that has their panties in a twist over the 2nd amendment. Does anyone really beleive that the federal gov't would or could ever, and I mean EVER repeal the right to bare arms in this country? - The bottom line is that the military is outgunned. So put your fears to rest, that will never happen.
The ones supporting this socialist bill haven't read a damn word of what's IN the bill. Wait until the 80% of sheeps gets taken from behind and we'll see how us activist gets laughed at then. Being blind is one thing, but being BLIND and STUPID by not knowing is another. Ask the supporter of the bill if they read the entire 1018 pages of that crap bill and you will see how many says NO they haven't. The hell has people become?
If the HR3200 is socialist then so is Medicare, Now the National Guard and Army Reserve have access to a Gov't sponsered health care option. It's like $180 a month, so exactly why isn't the one segment of society (middle class) that drives the economy entitled to affordable health care? - Why is it so important for reform protestors to support medical insurance companies that have been driving up cost while reducing benefits. If you own millions in stock, I understand, but if not your the sheep
I love how they say the dissenters are being orchestrated when all of the supporters are wearing the same color shirt and all belong to the same organization, which probably is some social program that gets paid by the government to just show up and try not to look stupid. And then the guy says they're not letting special interests win by passing a thousand page bill for them.
"all of the supporters are wearing the same color shirt and all belong to the same organization" Some social program? No, AFL-CIO and CWA which are workers unions.
Yea, that's what I meant: government-supported unions. And actually unions in generally couldn't exist without government so by their very nature that's the case as well. I mean theoretically a group of people could get together and whatever...but today's unions (the majority) are very centralized, and don't benefit its members any more than it benefits the employers. In fact it hurts everyone, and that is why government and the corporate elite support them.
Are you kidding? - Do you know how many john mccain lovin' republicans work in my union shop? I've been a member of the CWA for 16 years, and they take care of their members quite well. I just got 4 weeks paid vacation on my 15th year, 7 paid sick days, Medical, dental, and vision for a wopping $87 per month. And trust me, my employer profits a shit load. It's a win-win.
Yea you might think it's good, but its not. That doesn't mean you should stop paying union fees or refuse to strike when they tell you to, because they'll probably throw you in jail, so it's more like you're told its good, and you really don't have any choice but to go along, because non-member employees often get attacked either physically or financially and then they themselves are the ones who end up in jail.
Nope! - It's good! - 2 strikes in 16 yrs. No violence, and of course I have a choice. I can resign my position anytime. It sounds like you've had a bad union experience...There are no non-member employees. Union dues are a condition of employment excluding managment and there are some that do not perticipate in union activity, but no many.
What we need is flat-rate no-limit primary care, it doesn't involve the government or insurance and everyone will agree on it. Just google it. It's the best solution where the doctors and patients alone are in charge to make the right decisions without insurance OR government interference.
Sorry to say it is the Democratic that pay people to go out and protest, look who owne SEIU and ACRON and MOVEON
it is Democratic Party .
Plus they buss people in all the time.
The one I attended at I drove myself wanted to get some answer but when it come time to answer a question the Congressman just went off on something else this mad people even more up set, and can not blame them.
So but when he got a question about how Health Care plan is needed the Congressman answer his question.
Well when you have Sarah Palin saying that health care reform would result in the Gov't killing her baby with down syndrome, and seniors "standing before Obama's death panel" to determine their contribution to society. We have Michelle Bachman saying that "it will be manditory" for seniors over 65 to attend "end of life consultation" orthose with a cancer diagnosis to be instructed how to end their life."
first of all SARAH PALIN needs a brain transplant. Seeing that is impossible her opinion and her existence in American politics is NULL and VOID. Americans should be ashamed at having her represent us in any way . Don't you have any sense or respect for yourself.????
Dingle is one of several emasculated old men in Congress who are puppets for their staffs and have been there so long their butts marks are permanent in the seats they occupy.
It's 80% the other way, and even that might be too low. Because if you think about it, about 1 in 3 Democrats support the bill, every Republican doesn't, and everyone who isn't political doesn't obviously, so it's 1 in 3 in 4 (assuming 50-50 Democrat, Republican) in 8 (assuming half aren't political. So it's 1 in 15 support it. equals 93.33333 percent against it (rough estimate)
that's it, i've said americans are stupid...
i must correct myself, republican and / or conservatives are stupid....
