  • I have been doing cardio and some weight lifting at Ballys. I weigh in at 193 lbs. and I would like some helpful hints. It's been about 4 months and I feel like I should have lost more weight by now. Any suggestions???????

  • Sorry, I'm not Zuzana but I do have a suggestion. Don't give up. The only secret is not some fancy exercise but determination. Just keep plugging along; and keep watching Zuzana here. :)

    more weight lifting...weight lifting increases your metabolism when you're not working out so it's actually more effective...plus it shapes the body better

  • I HATE those exercises, and had to do them in our Boot Camp after running 3 miles. They are a super way to get ALL your muscle groups though.

  • If you use a rubber mat for the burpees, I think you could increase the speed of those, because you would not need to be afraid to bang your knees in the concrete. Sounds like a tough challenge, and one would need to pace oneself to get through, unless one has very good conditioning. You are more into crossfit training I see, and the results are showing. You say you workout every day, do you never take a break? What when you are really tired, don't you just go for a walk? Keep rocking!

  • Great workout, Zuzanna - obviously an intense calorie-burner and good for stamina. I am older and have a past including a few injuries, so I have difficulty with some exercises, but I think I can do these; at least am going to try. I don't expect any announcements soon that I beat your time though!

  • I take muay thai kickboxing and for warmup we jumprope for 15 minutes. That in itself has built up my stamina immensely.

    I do a similar pushup routine that has also helped me build chest muscle very fast.
