I pay 5 bucks a trade. On average the gains I make barley cover the fees in the short run. I have minuscule positions in lmt, nvs, xin, and agnc. It's cool though, I believe he started with a solitary gumball machine
@romale2307 Assuming you have some ability in picking good stocks, you might want to try buying just one stock at a time. That will help offset the cost per trade.
This guy is a god .....there is only few things he knows....but he knows them very well...."I don't give a shit about countries...give me a good price for the business" i

@codelyokoblue you wont be able to invest like him, he has a $150billion company to invest with. He buys majority shares in companies so he actually has a say in how they are run which you wont be able to do without alot of money.
@codelyokoblue nothing, he does the same things as everyone else just better. He researches companies that he thinks have potential to grow by reading the financial reports and speaking to the CEO's, then he works out how much he thinks the share price should be worth, and then if the current share price is less than what he thinks it should be then he will buy the company.
@codelyokoblue pretty sure there are dozens of books about him on amazon, just read some books and read a biography on him, look him up on wikipedia. you don't need to pay some hack a ton of money to tell you what the guy did and don't bother trying to be like him. you'll never be warren buffet but you can be the best version of YOU, all it takes is time and effort.
People put down Warren Buffett too much, out of jealousy.
I'm glad he exists so that I can someday maybe make a lot of money using things I learn from him. And one of the things I can see is that you have to really enjoy the process of investing to make a lot of money off of it. You can't just think "oh, man, I'd love to have 20 million dollars, then I'm out and retiring!" If you're thinking of retiring, you're probably not interested enough in investing.
Amazing how people think Warren Buffett is a value investor. if you ever read the shareholder letters and books about him, hes using growth and value investing fundamentals
This is annoying, like he's going to really tell you his secret investing method's. Buy cheap sell high, and see if the company has a strong consumer demand. There's your secret

I'm still struggling with the strong form efficient market. I'm skeptical but I also believe it. But who are you (or me) to say that you know better than the market?
Damn! What a bunch of player haters on this page for sure. LOL Don't get mad at him, he's only doing what you wish you could do but actually haven't. Stop being a hater to Warren Buffett. Jealousy will get people no where in life but a bunch of built up negative feelings only keeping you from progressing in life. :)P
yes, the man who gave away the most money ever, 40 Billion, is a greedy bastard because he made money, and is good at making money in the stock market... so i guess everyone else who invests in the stock market are greedy bastards too??? And what about people who own businesses because they want to make more money that one could working for someone else... them too??? fyourlife

Straight shooter, regardless of collateral damage. No sucker for altruism. Reputation is important to this man, but not one of empathy.
