  • i just installed some pioneer 6x9 ts-g974m from wal★mart using zip ties they sound clean doesn't rattle as some people said it would ...im currently waiting for the adapters..

  • @H3ARTBROKN exactly, it works just fine

  • yeah, no thank u....ill do it the right way.....

  • Actually he is correct zip ties do work on SOME applications i was actually surprised he didnt use sponges to Suppress the rattling on the back panel :D it worked for me

kudos to u sir. wutever works. WORKS!

  • zip ties lol. thats a good one. otherwise thanks

  • I lmao when he said "fuken japanese ppl" lol

  • u never ziptie

    a) you lose bass

    b) you will hear a click the entire time

  • can you please tell me what size speakers are in the front doors?

  • you're a lame engineer and your lack of diplomacy makes you

seem seem immature ... grow up!

  • @seaperu1 an engineer? I was like 15 when I made this, far from an engineer.

  • @aildfan08 really... it's hard to tell

  • Should have bought the pioneer or sony speakers from wal-mart instead of those.

  • Thanks for taking the time to record this. Just got a 2003, the 6X9's seem to be blown. Looks a lot like how to replace the 6X9's on my 1995 Camry, glad I watched this first, cause I ended up breaking a few plastic pieces on my previous car.

  • Thanks for the info and for tearing YOUR "S" apart before I did mine! :D

As for zip ties -- if it works for you then who cares. Purists will always criticize - it is what makes them purists.

Suggestion on future vids - Plan the steps out in advance of the video and hold the camera still while you point to things with your finger, a pencil, or a tool. Your vid jumped around a lot - good info, just a lot of extra movement. Thanks.

  • Thanks, you're video was easily the most helpful out of the bunch.

  • zip ties for real dude u mast have a shyt load of rattling!! i guess its ok if you dont care about sound quality... SMH

  • @NortherNC4lii

na. actually there is no rattling...sounds perfect to me. smd

  • bad info man you have to get Toyota 6x9 adapters to get a good fit you loosing a lot of sound quality tsk tsk zip ties .......really......

  • @gemeni4001

    no you dont have to get an adapter....it plugs in perfectly. I like zip ties (;

  • fuckinq japanese ppl lmaooooo

  • Your video saved me some time of figuring it all out myself. Thanks a bunch. Totally used the zip tties. No rattling so far.

  • @rsaldana1980

my zip ties are just fine. upgraded my head unit and sub. sounds way better now (:

  • Not so much of a great job dude.

  • @westcoastking1

    eh what can you do?

  • Why didn't you just drill new holes or glue them down with liquid nail. The zip ties seem like they would allow the speaker to rattle. Show us and update video of the speakers turned up.

  • @GADAmuzik

speakers are still absolutely fine lol

  • phillips flat head xD hahahahaha!

  • I got a 93 corolla and its just as hard getting to the speakers. I love toyotas but I often wonder how a popular and respectable car manufacturer like this how such terrible design. I wanted to save money and replace the speakers my self. Seems like an intelligent car manufacturer only requires the removal of the speaker grills. Why do I have to disassemble my the back seat and shelf just to access the speakers.

  • 2:04 such wisdom.

  • @spezow1234

    yeah dude

  • yea id prob flip the f out if i had that many panels out hahaha. but not as bad as when i took apart the dash of a 2010 camaro ss lol

  • zip ties work but dont use them for long term drill you some wholes and get some screws

  • @kyle93morgan 6x9s in general yea they will add more bass to your system but not as much as a sub some will but they need a amp and cost more then subs but these are boss 6x9s they are ok but need a amp but when amped they blow fast boss is a bad company they are 1 step above dual and duel is sold in walmart anything sold in walmart is cheap i should know i have there double din radio and it and its pre amp sucks im replacing it for a really head unit soon something like pioneer or alpine

  • @kyle93morgan

they're pretty cheap. I like the speakers, so its up to you

  • @kyle93morgan

    do whatcha want

  • holy shit toyota...in my mazda all i had to do to remove my rear spearkers was to remove the speaker covers and unscrew it....you had to gut the entire back, lol

  • lol fuckin japanese people

  • creative guy ...."zip ties" lol

  • @ronniehoward20

    damn straight

  • does your A pillar in the back have the SRS AIRBAG symbol on it? im worried there an airbag behind there does anyone know if their are airbags behind the 2 back pillars just so when i pry it out it doesnt go off....

  • haahaha zip ties why didnt you just drill new holes?

  • @tonymoreau

    lazy XD

  • @aildfan08 oh i would have probably done the same to tell the truth hahaha

  • everyone knows theyre walmarts XP but hey if they work for you then who cares. thats all ya need. ive got an 03 corolla LE and we're changin the rear speakers this weekend. hopefully itll be close to this vid and it will hopefully help a lot.

  • Zipties ftw.

  • @walkmuch

    hell yeah bro

  • lol "fucking japanese people" and whats wrogn with walmoart 6x9's?

  • @andrew1jl

haha! Idk, apparently people gotta find something to bitch it. they've worked perfect since I got em.

  • lol "fucking japanese people"

  • how does that dual sub sound? what size?

  • walmart speakers lamf

  • @McGorillaProduction

and they work fine, its funnier that you know they are from walmart yet trying to diss me for having them

  • i usded to have thoses 6x9s but i blew them in my 67 mustang then i replaced them with rockford fosgate power 6x9's

  • i just replaced the speakers in my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE. This video helped a ton so, thanks. It's crazy though, the LE was a lot harder to disassemble than the S in this video. The stock speakers were crappier than the ones that came stock in the S as well.

  • @myvidspwnurs

Sorry for a late reply, but hey thanks for the comment!

Glad the video helped even if It was a little shaky of a tutorial! Yeah the S is a sport model so it has a few more extras.

once again thanks for watching and the nice comment!

  • What i don't get is how the hell does every speaker fit for every car? and how are you supossed to know?

  • @dragonxd32

you don't. measure where the speakers go. look on the box for the measurements.

  • drill a hole from inside the trunk and use some self tapping screws.

  • @TheBeerBox80

na its all good. the zip ties actually hold very well

  • Thanks for the vid! lmao "f*ckn Japanese people" XD

  • @xxcookieaznxx

    no problem!

  • FUCK JEEP, FUCK TOYOTA. LIVE ON CHEVY! *spits* YOU LIVE ON MY AMERICAN LAND, YOU BETTER DRIVE MY AMERICAN VEHICLE.

  • ok lemme rephrase my last comment then, JEEP ALL THE WAY BROTHER.
