  • Why is this obese grown american man showing off his father's motorcycle? Why doesn't he show it himself? It makes me laugh how american men refer to their mother and father as Daddy and Mama. In other countries, people stop calling their parents Daddy and Mama when they are around 10 years old. In america, they never reach mental maturity.

  • i wouldnt touch it from what you have it right now... not worth spending the 600 to get a tad better sound out of it... it will never sound like a harley, but who cares...you have a better quality bike the the HDs

  • nice sound

  • nice sound

  • beautiful bike and sound but im really interested in elice,c mon elice show your self!!!

  • I went thru a couple of drills then finally stopped at a muffler shop and the guy used a torch--charged me like 20.00. Your best bet might be I think it's called a plasma torch (the one that doesn't get so hot) to do it. That rear slip on is is built like a tank (40lbs) After stage two I tried #3--no way could i get those baffles to come out even stopped at a machine shop and they wouldn't touch it (for fear of damaging it). if you remove that metal around the baffle it will sound good

  • @Bigdadddy61 Yamaha has a deal with a company called speedstar for drag pipes, it's listed on the site on the customizer.

  • @Bigdadddy61

I like your bike and it sounds great. Just ride her SAFE my friend!!!

  • Will you please describe the procedure to remove the covers on the pipes and what tools are required? Thank you.

  • I like the sound but I am concerned that you may have changed or harmed the performance of the bike by removing the metal outer rings from the exhaust? Did you ask a technician about this? What does this do to the fuel mixture, etc.?

  • Sorry I haven't responded but my daughter who filmed it has the comments coming to her computer didn't check with a tech- got a lot of info off the Raider web site (delphi fornums). if anything the bike seemed faster and got louder as time went on--have sinced installed the hard krome sideburners, k&n filter, and a fuel mgr. At the time I was I was a little concerned about puting on the new exhaust becaused it sounded so good, I was afraid I spent $600.00 and wouldn't get what I wanted.

  • Sounds great! I put cobra pipes on my bike and it's not quite what I'd like it to be. Great looking bike you have by the way. Nice yard too! :)

  • its great,

    sounds good

  • Yes, can you explain what you did , and where did you get that chrome belt guard? I can't believe Star didn't chrome that in the Raider S version.

  • Can you explain how you removed the the baffle plate, tools used etc...Any problem with plug fowl or having to re-tune at all?

  • my guess is he used a bi metal hole saw to cut that back plate out as thats what most ppl use when removing the back plate or debaffling an exhuast.

can find hole saw kits at home depot, lowes hardware. not sure on which size he used though. prob somewere around a 3inch bimetal hole saw
