Their is a fine line between "toughness" and "stupidity".. Other than it is "visually obstructing" why do professional hockey players not wear a cage? They race around the ice in such close proximity, and people are surprised when someone gets hit in the face with a stick or a puck? You would think with all the pads that hockey players have to wear anyways that at least they would find some protective gear other than a mouthguard(if they even wear those). Not a player or a hater just sayin.
