I DO agree that the Japanese mainstream generally seems to have 'better' artists in it than the American one (which totally sucks atm). However, why stop at the mainstream?

Look further and you should find a lot of kick-ass Western bands too. You just have to keep searching.

Both the East and West have their share of good and bad music.

Anyway, Yuusuke friggin' owns in this performance.
