It was all I could do to keep from crying. My father and uncles worked for Chevrolet

and GM and I worked at the old Lakewood Assembly before going into the Navy.

Thank God they are all dead now so they can't see what has happened.

I think otpvmike has gotten liberalism confused with capitalism. The rich have gotten richer by outsourcing all manufacturing in the U.S. Is it any wonder that the powers that be will not do anything about illegal immigrants. They will work cheaper and put the American worker out of a job.

You're right about the outsorcing that is what has ruined this country along with people taking advantage of the unions, but I disagree with immigrant part. This country was built by immigrant and unless you're 100% native american you too are an immigrant.
