I keep watching this over and over. It's really good! i love the resonator + harmonica.

Well, I really love the sound of the resonator, I'm planning on getting one like it, so i was wondering, what strings do you use on it?

@TheNewClassicMusic Thanks for the good words! well, I think for this vid, i had a set of actual resonator guitar strings (16's I think)i ordered them from "Elderly," they have several to choose from. They where a lil too tough on the neck tho. i use martin mediums now. if your planning on getting a dean res , check out the next model above mine... huge difference. Thx again...PEACE DJ!

jokerhwp...thanks for the checking out my vid. Although, I have not tested many tube preamp's... I can say that compared the low budget mixer board that I was using ....It's a noticeable difference. the setting adjustment's don't make much a difference though.

hello, I see that you own a very good Dean Resonator CE, I'm about to buy that or the Fender FR 50.

I just wanna know what the main difference from the CE series (the body is a little shorter/cut in the bottom part) in terms of sound. I want the one that sounds more like a banjo. Can you give some advice?

caralhosvosfodam, Thanks! unfortunately, I have only tested this Dean. Based on reviews from "harmony central," the higher end Deans are much better, but to each is own. I got a great deal on this one, and I really like it. My advise, is to find a guitar shop, and test them out, then go from there.Thanks again.
