Nope.. I love listening to Nirvana but GnR is just straight up a better band. Its vocal range and guitar work and the fact that they can produce a variety different sounding music. Yet at the same time I can't say how Nirvana would have grown musically since their music career was cut short. I just personally feel that (original) GnR is way more technical and have stronger written music. If you think all their songs sound the same I think your just listening to what the radio plays.

Virtually all of their songs sound the same, there's only two songs I like from them and one of those is a cover, I bet you can guess the other. Nirvana in my opinion destroys GnR in virtually every level. Axl is just a prat, the wrong man died in 1994 I tell you that for certainty.

Also, guns aren't too repetitive. and slash is a better guitarist than Kurt. Nirvana do compose the more heartfelt lyrics, and have their great moments, but all in all, i prefer GnR. also, you call rose a 'prat'...that is just the rockstar attitude that made him and his band famous. the correct attitude for a rockstar.

The advent of Grunge was the symbolic final nail in the coffin because it was Glam's aesthetic contrast. I always viewed GnR as the first nail since they set themselves apart from the Glam scene.
